Oh,well, I guess I'm alone on the GPL track! Still, what the GPL community has done with the Monaco graphics is awesome (to use a hackneyed phrase!) I d/l'd it and installed, and it's even better when you drive it. Especially if you get into Jimmy Clarks car!

I saw that game back when it first came out and was highy impressed by the graphics! I read that it's extremely difficult to learn as the cars are very accurately modelled in terms of actually driving skills needed to even get moving..is this still the case? Those new graphics are gorgeous and I'd probably buy it if I saw it on a shelf somewhere, I'm getting very bored with the whole flight sim genre and would welcome a change of pace!

Thanks for the heads-up.

Ogs.

Hi,Ogs,glad you are interested in GPL. It's really a great racing sim,and has been totally re-vamped since it came out. You have to like sliding around corners, though,as the F1 cars in '67 had no add-ons re. wings, etc. I love the game and have upgraded everything, the cars, tracks, sound etc. You can get the CD at ..........www.sold-out.co.uk. As far as learning to drive those cars,it's just practice, practice, practice. You can also find all kinds of help at these sites.....

Then,of course, you can go to Google and put in Grand Prix Legends. A lot of guys are going back to the older GP cars because the present F1 cars are so glued to the track that there's not much skill required to drive the line. E-mail me at home if I can help further. "harlow22@comcast.net"
