The 1950s saw change, and that much was certain. Thousands of servicemen were returning from war in Europe, and Americans were beginning to understand the benefits of peacetime. New goods became available, economy expanded, and the baby boom began to show it's first major effects. Women became more intergrated into daily life during the time, and education was becoming something commonplace. All seemed good, for the family was whole once again and serenity was settling.
However, out of such pleasant times, there arose a group of people that were still dissatisfied with life. Whether it was home problems or something from the grand scheme of life in the booming nation, they were displeased. It wasn't the first time that the United States had to deal with these sorts of citizens; throughout time, people that earned the title of gangsters had been appearing every now and then with malicious minds and blackened hearts.
Enter Brooklyn.
Divided at the seams by four groups that each have a deep loathing against one another for seemingly nonexistant reasons, the city has become something of a hazard to itself. Every day, there seems to be a new fight over something of trivial importance, and just as often does someone end up injured because of it. Only four months ago, it was proven just how dangerous things could be when Roberto Ricci was killed in a street fight.
In a way, the incident has spurred on even more vengeful feelings. Where there might have been hope in peace coming between the four gangs, something sparked a forest fire that can hardly be brought to an end. The Jets have engraved in their mind a need to get revenge on the Anglers. The latter group, however, does not seem to realize just how close to the brink of danger they are, for Oliver Ricci shows no real sign of anger outwardly.
Rather, they find themselves expanding on the southern side of New York, taking with it a number of popular hang outs. No one has the courage to stand up to them yet, for to the east, a war is brewing between the Grizzlies and the Templars over a small plot of land between their two already amassed territories. For the most part, the Grizzlies have been able to dominate, though something just might be able to break their concentration enough for it to be lost in terms of control.
That something is quite easy to name: The Center Point.
Perhaps the most valuable piece of land throughout the entirety of Brooklyn, it can easily be assumed that whoever manages to hold the juncture will be able to outlast the rest. With that realization, the fighting is renewed and strenghtened, though there's no saying who will be willing to take the ultimate strides. With the knowledge that no one is invincible clear in each man's mind, will anyone make it so far as to obtain it?
More importantly, will you?
