contagious

The final battle between Harry Potter and the Dark Lord ended with high hopes for the wizarding world; save for those who were well-known or newly-exposed Death Eaters. The official death and downfall of their Lord sent many into their deaths, if not into a cell in Azkaban, and everyone's favorite hero returned to his life, though with a little more of a normal routine to lay ahead of him.

He hadn't needed to finish what was supposed to have been his final year at Hogwarts in order to secure himself a high-standing job with the Ministry as an Auror, though Harry declined the job until a new Minister of Magic was set in place: Percy Wealsey. After being welcomed back into the family with open arms and an apology on his lips, Percy had redeemed himself. Harry Potter became Head of the Department of Magical Law Enforcement, and gained a reputation of having a lot of person experience in the field. Loving to be in the middle of the action, He was hardly ever left behind when it came down to finding and capturing a dark wizard.

Ronald Weasley and Hermione Granger settled their differences, and shortly after Harry Potter married Ginny Wealsey, the two followed suit. Hermione took up a teaching position at Hogwarts, while Ron followed Harry into the Ministry as an Auror, and soon became one of the top Aurors employed. The children of the trio from Hogwarts grew to reach the time when they must also go off to attend Hogwarts, along with the children of the many classmates the three knew in their times at school. But peace and prosperity can never last: a danger has been lying dormant for some time now, but the wizarding world may soon see its time under the temporary reign of Lord Voldemort was to be nothing but sunshine and daisies compared to what was to come.

Azkaban could only hold so many Death Eaters, and there were still those that managed to escape both death and the wizarding prison. But even as their time in hiding was spent wondering how they could possibly live now that their hope of a leader was gone, someone else came into the picture. His name was Elfred Bludd, and he meant business. A vampire from the early twelfth century and father of six children, Elfred had been around for many centuries, and knew his way around. And as a vampire, a walker of the night, there are many new evils and worlds that he's been able to explore. Many of the children of former Death Eaters have come to meet this man, and many have also decided to join his ranks in his plot to take power of the wizarding world. But there are those that would stop his efforts, for he is just like Lord Voldemort to them: The Order of the Phoenix.

Since Voldemort's downfall, Harry Potter has taken the position as Head of the Order, with his wife and best friends at his side, along with the original Order members and a few new faces, many of which followed Harry faithfully after having been taught by him in Dumbledore's Army. Their intentions are to keep things the way they are, for they're happy with the current way of the world. With rumors of a new up-and-rising evil coming toward them, Harry and his friends have got a lot more to worry about. The worst part of it is that their children, while at Hogwarts, are no longer safe under the threat of this new danger with Dumbledore gone. Though they are out of harm's way for now, it's a possibility that things could get dangerous.. and then where would they be?

But there is a third player in this conflict that seems to be bubbling just beneath the surface, a neutral party that goes against both the Order and the new Death Eaters. The Judgment Guard has been rumored around the world, but no one has ever really been able to place them with the blame of actions they've committed, though it may be a well-known fact that they are behind it. Hearing of the plot of Elfred Bludd, James Bannister, Jr. appeared at the Head of the group, his sights set on over-throwing both the Order and Mr. Bludd. But what will happen when the conflict between these three groups finally reaches it's boiling point? Will the wizarding world sit back and let it happen, or will the need to fight be contagious?
