Her footsteps where in audible over the shouts and cries of desperate merchants. Who wouold have thought a flower market could be this popular? Jac couldn't even hear herself think- which was fine by her as most of her thoughts where just a continous spew of garbage. "Achetez vos roses fraîches ici. Elles sont romantiques, beau. Venez obtenez-les!" A new cry could be heard, the language was french but it had an un-mistakeable cockney accent, and just what he said aswell.. so typically London. Jac failed to realise quite how much she missed that place, really, why was she in France? No one knew her here, she knew no one here. It was all very annoying.

It's not just the cockney merchants accent that caught her attention. It was what he said "Buy your fresh roses here. They are Romantic, Beautiful.. Come get them". Roses. Now that was what Jac was looking for. Those beautiful, beautiful un-mistakeable flowers. Each colour held a vibrant new message, a deeper secret meaning, a pulse of life. In the driest whitest stretch of pain's infinite desert, I lost my sanity and found this rose as Rumi once said. It was funny, becuase Jac was planning to do quite to do something similar- by the end of her little game she would drive them insane with her rose.

She approached the large stool, met by a whole rainbow of roses. perfect. Beside her was a stuttering and weedy looking youth peeing curiously at the flowers. He lifted his eyes to look at the heavens but caught sight of Jac along the way and a wild smile broke out. "You sprecken english?" He asked, his voice halway to breaking, without waiting for an answer he continued. "I want to get a rose for my girlfriend to say I'm sorry.. what colour should I get!" He asked, his eyes shining with an annoying amount of hope. Jac just stared at him for a moment a little shocked before narrowing her eyes. "I'm not a fucking florist." She hissed, shaking her head.

Her gaze returned to the peaceful beauty of the flowers. Jac sighed, she'd been given roses before. She looked back at the boy, who seemed gueninely upset and she groaned. She picked out a rose- yellow with red tips. "It mat not be the prettiest" She admitted. "But's its by far the sweetest, it means falling in love." The boy looked at Jac for a moment in disbelief before paying for the rose and jumping on his bike. Now it was just Jac who needed to chose the right flower.

A assortment of fresh roses, that was something you didn't see often on the streets. Hikari had passed by when the roses caught her eyes. Since she had taken are, she knew about the different feelings in colors. In roses, it was probably a bit different, maybe not. She decided to stay a few minutes to look about. All she wore was a light blue Eeyore top that said "I need a hug" with jeans and black sneakers. It was a warm night so why not?

Looking at the roses, she saw colors of white, pink, yellow, red, blue, fading into colors, The white was for purtiy Hikari was guessing. Pink was for cute love, yellow for friendship, and red for romance. The yellow fading to red from what she knew was like from friendship falling into love. Blue was calm, serene, and if black, a hated love, maybe forbidden too. The black Hikari didn't really understand the meaning for it because it was controversial. She liked the black one because it had a meaning to it like all the other colors. She turned to see another young woman nearby looking at the roses. She gave her a small smile before looking back at the roses. Hikari basically talked to herself while she looked.

"... So many to chose... With so many meanings to pick from..."

The scent of another human approached and Jac turned, met with a small smile. Although she wasn't in the best of moods, she smiled back at her, she seemed pretty enough- Jac could get some fun out of this one. "... So many to chose... With so many meanings to pick from..." Her soft voice spoke, but it was entirely directed at Jac. "Well, it really depends on who your giving a rose to, becuase if your buying one for yourself, you do have my pity." She gave a toothy grinned to show that she was just playing about with her.

Jac turned around, so that she was leaning against the stand- her tiny weight making little difference to the stands poise. "So who are you giving it to.. family? Friends?.." Jac leaned into the young girl, so thet her lips just brushed her earlobe. "Or lover?"

"Well, it really depends on who your giving a rose to, becuase if your buying one for yourself, you do have my pity."

Hikari turned her head to the voice of that comment. She saw it was the young woman she had seen at the stand. She was stunning and admiring but Hikari's mindset wasn't like that. She gave a small smile.

" I'll take that pity, thank you.. I'm buying for an artistic purpose."

The girl was a bit close for comfort, her soft breath against her ear. Hikari took a small step back and looked at her.

"My family is too far away to give a live rose, and lover, I don't have."

She looked back to the flowers, taking in the meaning of the flowers. Its color needed to express what Hikari was feeling and how it went well with what she was planning on drawing it.

" I'll take that pity, thank you.. I'm buying for an artistic purpose." Jac looked at the girl strangely, her eyebrow raised and that awful smirk placing itself frimly on Jac's face. She'll take that pity? Jac almost laughed to herself. Pity? You don't want pity, pities bad. Iy means that something about your life is worth pitying. How dumb was this girl. Artistic purpose? These thoughts where disturbed by the retreat of the girl. Bless her, little girl is scared. "My family is too far away to give a live rose, and lover, I don't have." She watched her gaze return to the flowers. "I'm not surprised." She smirked-talking about her lack of lover.

You see, Jac wanted a rose, and I guess you could say for artistic perposes but she was almost certain that it wasn't even on the same level as this girls. "Whatcha gooing to do babe, paint it?"

Hikari Zhou - August 8, 2007 04:25 PM (GMT)
"I'm not surprised."

Hikari turned her dark eyes to the girl. Who the hell did she think she was? What did she know about her? She turned her head back and picked up a white rose. Looking at it closely, she carefully turned it, avoiding the thorns. It looked healthy and strong. The petals felt soft and velvety, a nice texture.

"Before painting it, I'll take pictures of it, then sketch it, and then paint it.."

Hikari looked over more roses see if any more took her interest.

"What about you? What are you going to do with your rose when you find the right one?"

Jac Roberst - August 8, 2007 05:41 PM (GMT)
What she said didn't interest her much, her eyes had soon returned to the various colours of the roses. Well, that was until the human returned her question. "What about you? What are you going to do with your rose when you find the right one?" Jac's head turned slowly, her eyes pulsing an intense and eery blue. A small smirk played on her lips. Her delicate hands picked up a nearby black rose and she sniffed it. It smelt heavily of dye- after all black roses didn't grow in this world. She stroked the stem, pricking her finger in the thorn. She watched carefully as the blood began to swell, trying to escape her. She licked the metalic liquid lustfully, her eyes flashing back to the human.

"I'm going to cut an old friend of mine open." She took a few steps toward her. "Cut him from here to here." She dragged her finger along the human, from her collar bone to her belly button. "I'm going to take his heart.." She mimicked the action of ripping it out. "And replace it with a single black rose.." Her face remaained prefectly straight, radiating evil.

Hikari Zhou - August 9, 2007 12:35 AM (GMT)
A black rose, it seemed very befitting to the girl in a way. Her.. personality matched the color in a way. The thorn pierced her skin, blood welling in a drop on her finger. She licked it up, eyes filled with emotion. It seemed to be a normal thing that people sucked or in this case licked blood from a cut or a pierce. But what she said next really made Hikari think that she was the black rose.

"That old friend must have hurt you pretty bad to make you say such things."

Being touchy feely again, what was with her. Hikari didn't move this time, ignoring it. She must have been one of those, morbid girls.
