Title: looking;;b a c k ALWAYS [hurts]
Description: Anniversary of [their] end

Nefas Leonardo Altima - July 31, 2007 08:09 PM (GMT)
But we won't be saved
We'll live as slaves to love
What God takes away
Let's refill all your holes with mud
"Purchase your tickets; I'm kicking your crosses down"

Nefas stood in the chamber, in front of the empty thrones where his parents once sat. the many of the coven standing behind, everyone in the deepest of blacks for the mourning of the heads of the coven. He stood alone, the others sitting along the many pews of this hall. This was the anniversary of his parents death, the day that the bloodthirsty lycans had taken the lives of his parents. Nefas bowed his head and took his seat to the right of the larger throne. His sisters had gone again as always and so the two smallest thrones to the left of his mothers would stay empty this time. [He sat alone].

You’ll be relieved
All of your friends are gone
And you were barely holding on
Wrong and fooled once again
We are the loneliest of men
All your friends are gone
Nobody hears you
All your friends were wrong
Nobody cares

[A tear]His eyes went from one side to the other, his friends all looking sorrowfully at him or evaded his glances by starring into the floor. He could not help but let his mind drift back to the days of sunlight and color, the days of his youth with his sisters and parents on their summer days. Now he sat in a place of black and white, restrained to the shadows and dark corners. He could not help but let the tears of blue, that reflected all in a happier time, the single drop falling unannounced form his chin to the arm rest beneath his slouched head.

Don't be alarmed, I feel we're falling back to ground.
Don't be afraid, I hear in every word they say,
That even if you don't look back, be sure and find out who was there,
And what they wore, and ten more reasons.
Don't be alarmed, I feel we're falling back to ground

After nearly an our hour of silence one by one his coven came up to him and gave him their respects and kind words. Many would stop and talk for a long time before moving off or being overcome by tears. Soon the normal members had passed and his staff had worked their way up to the thrones. Many simply nodded to him while others could barley look at him. This was the darker days of the year, this night would be very long and very sad.
