Title: Winter Wonderland
Description: Luna ish Crazy O_o

Luna - December 22, 2006 05:30 AM (GMT)
Blankets of white had covered over the territory, bringing about the representation of winter. Such a season could be considered depressing, bringing the death of the many living, leaving trees leaveless and ugly. Only the quiet snow would remain in bloom, trapping the grass and flowers in slumber until spring had brought forth life once again. Trees looked as if the leaves had been shaken right out of them from the forceful winds, but merel over time the leaves had fallen to the ground, giving nutrients into the needy soil under the snow. Even though it seemed that winter brought nothing but depression in death, there were animals that found it a wondrous time of year, a time of joy and endless entertainment. this special time of year as well brought forth not only love, but mating as well. Bringing even more life into the spring that was to come in a couple months. Some wished not for the season of winter, knowing it brought forth a side of weakness, a side unknown to the world, a side of torture. For one wolf, winter was her most hated season of the year, revealing a most cheerful side, even if she wasn't that of a very cheerful type.

Nose pressed softly into her silvery-white fur, eyes not visible at moment, while her flank lifted slowly up and down. Even though such a peaceful looking wolf couldn't dare let her guard down in such a manner, for ears lay pointed up for any small signs of sound. Around her the air was warm and calming, bringing a relaxing feeling upon her pelt, even for all that has gone on since she had arrived here. The den was small yes, but it was small enough to be cozy, and a permanent place to call a home, for she wasn't planning on getting a mate anytime soon. A small gust of wind blew into the den, ruffling her fur slightly, and signaling that it was time to awaken. Golden eyes blinked open softly, though closed once again, wanting to fall back to sleep. Why not just sleep the whole winter? If other mammals could do it, she was sure that wolves could too. Once again the wind ruffled her fur, sending a shiver down her spine. Finally the fae gave nothing but a sigh, and opened her golden crisp eyes once again to face the joyous time of winter.

Luna's maw erupted into a small yawn, making a small hardly audible yelp as she let the air escape her lungs. Paws brushed the bottom of the den, pushing her young, but strong muscular build off the warm bedding that she had gathered to create a bed with, bones of prey she had eaten pushed off into a corner in the den in which to be buried or disposed of. The den that she had called her own with her scent was small and yet large, so it would be consider the size of medium. It's location was not far from the Pukippu Clearing, approximately a quarter of a mile. Not much light entered the confines of her darkened den, for two large rocks lay above her, closing off most of the underground den, except for a big enough entry for a wolf larger then Jale could enter. It was quite cozy and peaceful, and hidden as well from humans, but protected from wolves. It was her lucky find, and she didn't care who wanted it, they wouldn't get it. Golden eyes looked to the spotlight of sun that shown at the end of her den, a small patch of snow laying upon the ground before her, the white spot glimmering under the sunlight.

She didn't want to greet winter, for this season tortured her so, it manipulated her into doing things...things she knew that her whole mind would be against doing. Already it had begun...a time in which her weakness showed the most...her vanurability at it's highest point. Heat. This season brought forth this unstoppable sensation, making her search for a mate...cry for one if needed...to fill her body's own needs. But she never totally gave into it, she suffered through it, usually keeping to herself even more then she did, never begging to be mated with so badly that she groveled at a male's paws. No, she would never drop that low. Sure she did things that were an embarrassment to her nature, playing around like a foolish pup, bounding around as if she was wanting to make herself look stupid, but never would she howl at a male's paws to mate with her.

Digging at the dirt below her, eyes continued to stare at the snow, as if being hypnotized by it's ominous glow. Her fur started to feel hot again, as eyes took on a lustful and yet playful look, paws at the ready to bound out of the den. 'No..I have to fight it...I have to....' she thought, closing her golden eyes in struggle, but the calling of nature was far too powerful, and it was pulling her in like a fisherman with a hooked fish. Letting nature take it's course, she would resist once again if things got too bad, but usually they didn't. Most of the time she just became the laughing stock of the clan...as they seemed to enjoy watching her suffer...watch her tortured by this feeling. After all, it seemed that no male would dare step up to mate with Luna, and she was happy they didn't. Not only would she be pregnant with Deirdre if that happened, but there was no way the Alphess would ever let the pups survive even a day...not even that...milliseconds. The alphas would probably watch over Luna like hawks picking up their feed, and whatever pups she gave birth to, within an instant the pups would be nothing but dinner, killed instantly with a blow to the neck. But she didn't need to worry about any pups...every wolf hated her, and with that, they would just laugh at her silly behavior.

Bounding happily out of her den, she came to meet the snow, the flurry of flakes falling lightly to the ground, giving such a wonderful and peaceful feeling to Tyjiik. Paws leaped through the snow like a bunny rabbit as she started on her way towards the Pukippu Clearing, knowing there would be plenty of space to run around, to burn off much of the energy she carried, though it would never help to fight the urge. Reaching the blanketed covered area, there lay no trees in sight. Just the beautiful white snow, with flurries of flakes slowly coming down to meet their own pile. "I'm gonna get you!" she barked playfully as she bounded after a snowflake, leaping into the air and snapping at it, trying to get the little white invader into her mouth. No avail came, as she tried once again for another, this time grabbing at it, but who could tell, there was too many to count. Stopping briefly from her snowflake jumping, she looked at the barely touched snow on the ground, wanting to make it filled with her pawprints. Darting in all different directions, she dashed through the snow, her prints molding perfectly into the crystal white blanket. The tail that usually dropped low, wagged happily behind her, her paws slowing down into a canter as she moved across the snow. "This is so much fun...but I wish I had someone to play with." she barked, spotting her tail wagging behind her, as instinct told her to chase it. To act like a pup. Playful. Spinning round and round in circles, Luna started to chase her tail, trying to grab it in her maw, but so far it was basically impossible. Before long, dizziness locked into her eyes, as she fell back into the snow, white pelt almost blending in perfectly. Huffing and puffing, she could see the fog of her breath rise into the air like a little cloud, the snow around her attempting to cool of her hot pelt. Yipping like a little pup, she started to roll over in the snow, continuing her foolish antics. It was so much fun, yet so embarrassing, how could she ever stop. Finally energy had seemed to drain as she relaxed upon her back, fully stretching in the snow, her maw laying sideways into the frozen water. "I wish all year was this fun and beautiful." she barked quietly, her maw now pointing towards the sky, a snowflake coming to land on her black little nose. Giving a small bark, the white fluffy tail started to wag once again, making indents in the snow. All of these things were what pups did, but Luna shouldn't act like this...it was beyond stupid...but she couldn't help it, she couldn't fight this part of Nature's Calling . 'I hope...no one is seeing like this...how embarrassing.' Luna thought, still laying upon her back staring at the sky, catching her breath.

Haskyl - December 22, 2006 09:53 PM (GMT)
This was all... very new for Haskyl. He’d more or less reached an adult size (though he was not done growing). Not long ago the pup still in him had reared it’s head with the first big snowfall. He had crept cautiously out of his den, easing his paws into the power that coated the ground. Winter, he had found, certainly brought about a new sort of cold. That was the first big change.

The second change was the change in the Tyjiik females. They were entering heat, and though Haskyl was not old enough to mate... or care... he knew the fundamentals with the process of creating pups. It was not something he found himself looking forward to doing. He perhaps even found mating a bit on the gross side. Perhaps in a year when adolescence reached him his thoughts would sway, but right now it was all about training, getting stronger, growing.

Today it seemed he found himself in the Pukippu clearing. Oh what memories, this was where he’d met his half-assed brother. If Jarue was still stronger than Haskyl, they would be evenly matched before long. He and Vitauni had become something of partners in the past two months of his living in Tyjiik. He would help her become Alpha when Jale and his bitch were gone. Perhaps out of gratitude Vitauni would give him a good rank. Beta perhaps? That sounded wonderful. Frizk could keep his petty rank of Lead Warrior back in Kiskana. Haskyl knew he was bound for better things in Tyjiik.

With a puff of power he began a trot, snow dusting his legs with every step. It was such a smooth place to run, but the clearing seemed to accumulate snow like there was no tomorrow. Haskyl had come to a conclusion that he didn’t particularly like the snow. But snow was snow, and snow it would. He glanced around the clearing once, checking to make sure that a familiar black figure wasn’t here. Vitauni was grand and all, but Haskyl didn’t feel like being tail-gated just because his own father didn’t trust him. He was more than a pet, and it seemed Jale hadn’t figured that much out.

It seemed the clearing lacked black, but instead he spied a bounding white wolf. Now who the hell was that? Oh, he thought monotonedly, Luna. He wasn’t exactly fond of the wolf, but he was bored.

He made his way up to her. The perfumey scent of her being in heat tickled his nostrils slightly. Other than being completely strong he could walk through it without getting the urge to bound up and mount her. That was what made it nice about being nine months old. Sex was unappealing.

I’m sorry to interrupt your play time,” he said cooly, sitting down. Of course he wasn’t sorry, but well... it was just a default thing. “But you’re making yourself look incredibly easy. Rape is a pass time in Tyjiik, you know. I doubt you care to find yourself more of a cow instead of a wolf come spring,” he added.

Unfortunately, the cool personality was his trademark. If it was emotionless and cold it was Haskyl. Many girls found this attractive though, as though those types are hard to get and some top prize. And some found it irritably lousy. He was sort of hoping for the second one, because being pestered by giddy girls sounded pretty annoying to him. If he were to have a mate, he would pick one himself, not have little girls bugging him in to taking them!

He smiled in an ‘aren’t you precious’ sort of sarcastic way. So what if she was older? Stronger? Haskyl had his dad. And besides, she seemed so utterly enticed with playing that it didn’t seem like much of a threat.

Luna - December 23, 2006 04:56 AM (GMT)
Snowflakes continued to flutter down to earth, though a new scent rang through the air, signaling that there was another out there in this wonderful snow caped clearing. She could sense that he was young and of Jale's scent...but not so much of Deirdre's Next time...i'll do what the bears do and hibernate all winter long...it's so much easier then bounding around like a retarded, and I don't want a mate. I hate this...I Hate This... I HATE THIS. she screamed in her head, but it was more then obvious that she was not showing such behavior on the outside, for her tail was wagging, and she seemed quite the excited one. Rolling over to spot the pup, she arose to her paws, and sat on her haunches, looking down upon him. Shaking her fur rapidly, like flakes of white snow fell from it, but most still clinged, as you could see she was having a fun time...Well, she was being forced to have a good time. Bounding to her paws, her golden eyes once again focused on the snowflakes as she started to bound into the air, snapping at them once again. "Do you think I like doing this?" she spoke, continuing to try and catch the snow flakes, her fur starting to feel hot again, but at least she could hold some of her personality talking to such a young male...something she couldn't do if she was speaking with Jale, or any other older male for that matter.

"I can't help it..." Luna spoke, feeling quite embarassed about this whole thing, but her energy still ran quite high. Stopping herself to at least talk to the puppy in an easier way, her body edged her continue, but she resisted the urge...but she couldn't resist it long. "It's not like I want puppies...I don't, but I can't control myself either...and it'll get worse too, it's just a matter of time. The best thing I can do is stay away from all the males...but thats quite a difficult task." she barked, tail wagging behid her, as eyes lit up eagerly to chase it, herself rising to her paws, ready to try basically the impossible once again. Circling countless times over and over again she chased her tail, as if it were an addicting past time, but Luna hated doing it, and yet she loved it. After tiring out herself a bit, she stopped and took another look at Haskyl. "Your the only one that knows how stupid I act during heat...and I know it's like calling for rape....but just do one thing, and don't tell anyone else. I bet Deirdre wouldn't help but get a good laugh, and torture me through all the seasons about this. Just do this one thing...unless you want to piss me off." she barked, for her voice couldn't turn into a snarl or growl in anger, only in lust...but she wasn't feeling the least bit lustful...okay maybe just a tad.

Sitting upon her hauches, she struggled to keep still for she found it almost impossible to do such things. All of this was torture to her, even Jale couldn't reach these heights. It made her obvious to other wolves, yes...It made her ver vunerable, yes...but as long as no male saw her foolish acts of playfulness, and realized who she was exactly...the wolf who basically almost was the second Omega, she would be fine, and get through the winter as she always did, hunting, or sleeping the whole winter away. Though many a thing could happen, it was possible, but highly doubtable. Maw pointed up to the sky as to let out a howl, though she didn't let one escape, she didn't want such a lovely song to venture into the air. Lovely? It couldn't be that, seeing as the call for acceptance sounded terrible, and took on no form of meleody at all. But during heat, everything changed, even her vocals. She could let out such an alluring beautiful song that it could send a male into a trance, but she barely ever dared to play that beautiful song she wrote...no. When she loved another truly...not just for mating, but for real, she would release such a calling into the air, but not until that day, not ever. Keeping her golden eyes squarely upon the pup, she could feel her body starting to quiver, knowing that it wouldn't be long before she would given in to the urge, and once again be bounding pathetically around the clearing.

Haskyl - December 23, 2006 04:31 PM (GMT)
“Well it sure seems like you enjoy it,” he spoke, eyes gleaming with amusement. “Unless you really have so much lack of self control that you can’t refrain from embarrassing yourself.” Haskyl looked at the female. He was slightly smaller for the time being, but knew within a years time he would grow about to his father’s size. Even being two years younger he found the female foolish. Haskyl had never known himself not to have self control.

He shrugged. His hormones were perhaps as dead as carrion, and he didn’t understand why the hell hers were as jumpy as a mouse. “Well, I could mate right now if I wanted to, even if I can’t produce pups. But you don’t see me pissing myself every time I come into site of a girl because she’s in heat. But that’s okay, Luna. I don’t think you’ll have trouble with males. I for one find that you’re attitude makes you most unappealing, even if sex is involved.” He spoke flatly. Maybe she was almost pretty with her white coat. But her attitude was so foul... not strong and elegant... just foul. Then again, he was still a pup and had no desire to put his family jewels in to use. “Besides, I don’t recall regular pack members being allowed to mate. But I’ve only been here slightly longer than you.”

“Oh, Deirdre’s been thrashing about in the snow a good bit herself. I’ve seen her, making marks for my father. Thing is, she isn’t shameless about it. Then again, I’ve yet to see her chasing her tail,” he said with a smirk. The fact that she chased her tail and the lust in her voice was utterly disgusting. But again, he would not share these desires for another year yet.

“But anyway, enough about mates and playing. What brought you into this pack?” he asked, though his voice did not hint anything at being interested, and he pretty much was not. Haskyl may have been very good at lying, but most of the times he had a painful sense of honesty, not to mention he lacked good social skills... and a lack of fear for any, even his own father.

Luna - December 24, 2006 03:51 AM (GMT)
Eyes attempted to burn with anger towards the pup, but it was no use...it was impossible to achieve such an angered look to any wolf in Tyjiik during this time of year, not even to Deirdre would her look be filled with sour attitude or hateful expressions. He didn't need to agree to what she was saying, she was being tormented enough with these out of control urges that pulled at her pelt all the time now, even when she fell into sleep. It seemed there was no escape from this, there never was, unless a male really did mate with her...then the body stop the urges, but her moods would shift instantly, and barely have even a say to it. Listening to the pups words, instead of spitting something back, in whatever angry sort of way possible, she listened intently, running back and forth over his words. Do I really lack self control in winter...no...well, of course I won't admit it to him, but it's obvious that no doubt I do lack self control. And he is certainly right that my attitude isn't the greatest towards any a wolf...but why should I care...there's no reason why I should. Hmp, he's just trying to make a joke out of me, knowing I can't do so much as attack him while he keeps going on talking about me infront of my face. Disgraceful little thing...just like his father, though they're all dumb asses in my book...

Hearing about the Alphess having her own joyful moments, she couldn't even laugh about it...what was there to laugh about, if she laughed at Deirdre about her going crazy...just think at how many laughs Luna would get if someone saw her, I mean it could be the blackmail of the century. Hearing the comment about her chasing her tail, she could feel herself trying to force her body to growl...just once at the pup...just once. Not in lust, in anger. Though nothing happened...nothing. Her tail just continued to wag as if she hadn't heard the comment at all. Luna knew that he was just a pup, and she knew that he probably found it strange...or even gross to see a female acting this way. Of course, there was no doubt that anyone would find her foolish, they did even when she wasn't in heat. A light sigh escaped her maw, as she felt her body start to shake once again, wanting to act upon it's own...wanting her to once again burn energy and become playful. This time, she resisted...and it took a lot of strength to resist the kind of things her body wanted...for it wanted to take over badly, but she was going to try and control herself...at least for as long was Haskyl was here.

Luna looked upon him, seeing already that he didn’t seem the least bit interested about why she really came into the pack...actually what was her reason that she came into this pack? Why had she not kept herself as a loner instead, knowing that she didn’t have to follow under the orders of others, knowing she could do almost whatever she pleased. The thought started to lurk within her already confused, and crazy mind at the moment, trying to figure out the reason. After holding quite the long silence between the two of them, she had thought strongly about why she came, wanting to explain it into a simple way. “Well, I don’t really know all that much...maybe I just wanted pack life, instead of being alone all the time. I mean...maybe my attitude is bad and maybe I really make bad first impressions, but I really don’t care about that. I could care less. I guess what I’m saying is being around other wolves is more comforting then being by yourself...especially killing worthless beings is a lot more fun and entertaining with others b your side. Of course, I’m probably still alone even if I’m in a pack.” she barked, looking to Haskyl with actual meaning in her eyes, a sort of change in tone in her voice. It was different really when she talked about her heart, and caring about something. It was as if she was a totally different wolf...but that was what she was. That was her true weakness....her heart. Tail continued to create an indent in the snow, as the urge to lose energy had faded, though her attitude showed not the slightest bit of change. It wouldn't until spring.

OoC; I know it's short and took me forever to get up. Sorry. D:

He listened to her talking, boredly. So what if he was a boring guy, at least this female could show some freaking originality. He was so fed up with all the insane “I’ll kill you because I feel like it” females. They didn’t even have anything to show for their big heads. Then they had these drastic mood swings that were just plain annoying. At least he was the only apathetic soul in the pack, his indifference actually made him different.

Her statement though, made his hackles rise. “You’re probably right. Even in this pack of tyrants you’re just as alone as you were before. And killing isn’t fun, though I’m sure you know all about worthless souls. You seem like one yourself,” he growled. “Killing wolves should only be done when it’s necessary. Killing for sport is doing no one a favor,” he said, coolly. It was amazing that he thought this way, having a father like he did. But he liked to think on sensible terms, and killing because one feels like it is not even appropriate for hunting.

Being the careless youth he was, he took no notice to her whole ‘spilling the heart’ thing. If anything, her heart was better left where no one could see it. All he’d asked was a simple question… she’d answered him fine at first.
