I was diagnosed through a sleep study with sleep apnea around one year ago. I was issued a Remstar M Series with mask and have used it almost every night with excellent results. As an avid backpacker, I searched for something that I could take with me on my trips. An internet search yielded the TAP Thornton Adjustable Positioner. I won't go into detail on how it works; you can find it on a quick search. After consulting with my dentist, my TAP was fitted and ordered. I experience the same, if not sometimes better quality of sleep, and it allows me to carry it along on short trips and backpacking outings when the CPAP machine is impractical. It takes a few days, maybe even a week of getting used to. Again, I won't go into the details, but I highly recommend it to fellow apnea sufferers looking for affordability and portability. Feel free to ask me any questions.

Having just started using the CPAP last week, and not being impressed with the results so far, I'm interested to hear what others have heard or experienced using this device. It sounds like a more pleasant alternative to the leaf blower I have sucking on my face every night.
