Does anyone know where I can get a free cpap? I have Respironics - its old - no insurance. I faithly sleep with mine because it is difficult to function without it. Its making funny noises and sometimes a funny burning rubber type smell comes out of it.

Any help would be great

I am looking for a free study or program until insurance goes through, but if I lose my mmachine altogether I am done for.

You might want to try your local Sleep Center. Many times, they have used, older machines sitting around that they have available for those with no insurance. If you go in and tell them of your situation, they might be able to help you.

Or, you may want to attend your local AWAKE meeting, since a lot of sleep apnea patients attend those, some may have older machines they are not using. You can search for a local AWAKE group in your area by clicking here.

Good luck!
