Title: Fisher Paykel operation
Description: Machine function

Last spring, I lost my job.. and ultimately my insurance, AFTER doing sleep studies, but before I could get a CPAP machine.

I put out a request on our local Craig's List and now have TWO machines... free! (I was pretty thrilled, and certainly blessed!) One even came with a brand new comfort gel mask.. although it is a small and I really need a med. But, I'm using it.

ANYWAY... from the article posted on THIS site, I learned how to program the Respironics machine to my doctor's recommended pressure. But, this machine doesn't have a humidifier, which I think may help me.

The other machine is a Fisher Paykel. Although the article didn't address this particular machine, I was able to try different combinations of buttons and SEEMINGLY get it into 'set' mode. I can change things, but I can't get the changes to 'save'. It cycles through the different settings which each are coded to a particular number in the "50s"... setting 51 is this or that, setting 52 is the next thing, etc.

I'd like to learn how to change the settings on this machine.. or, actually, save the changes I've apparently already learned how to make.

Then, I can choose which machine works best for me and be able to give the other one to someone who needs it.

If anyone can help me with information, or an online manual, I'd appreciate it. I'm pretty good at finding things on the internet... but I have NOT been able to find the secret therapists' access information for this machine.

Thank you. I appreciate any help.

I too have a Fisher Paykell CPAP and was disappointed to find that the walk through guide posted here didn't include an instructions for it.

I remember once, about a year ago shortly after I first got the machine, I found a walk through on how to change the settings on-line. Foolishly, I figured I'd be able to find it again and never bookmarked it nor printed it out or saved it.

So the bottom line is, yes it has been posted online somewhere - I've seen it - but like you, I simply can't find it.

If anyone knows, please post.
