Yesterday i received my new Respironics Comfort Lite (?). The air descends from the top of
your head with comfortable straps holding it on. There are no straps on your face, just two pillows
or a tiny triangle of mask to encompass your nasal passages.
I tried it last night and it was, finally, wonderful. There are turnwheels ? to lengthen the hose to
your nose, and another to change the angle of the pillows to fit perfectly. The only problem would
be if you sleep with your nose smushed in the pillow, but if you sleep with your face just turned
on the pillow, it stays intact with no leaks, and the air hose is way over your head and out of your way.
This, plus the A machine are starting to work for me. But i am still just as exhausted every a.m.,
but my sleep apneas are diminishing nicely.
Anyway, i recommend these two; they are worth a try.
Cheers,
Janet, still sleepy in Green Bay, but no air leaks :P
