I'm a week into APAP - getting about 7.1 hours/night of compliance, my wife has moved back into our bedroom and says I'm no longer snoring at all, my blood pressure has dropped a measurable amount and I feel good.
The GoodKnight Silverlining software says I'm averaging 0.9 apnea/hour.
Is that the number of incidents I would have had without the machne? or is it what I'm having anyway?
My leak rate is < 0.2 liters (per unidentified time). Same question: Do I need to do something to improve that? The chart of leaks is nearly flat - the only time it climbs is when I go to the restroom and take off the mask :) Is this good?
Thanks for all the help. /Stu
Stubell....if yor AHI is 0.9 that is great. If you are using it 7/8 hours per night that is also great. If your mask rarely likes, that is almost perfect. All I can say is enjoy your sleep and wait until you feel great. I would asume that if you did not use the machine, your AHI would be greatly increased. You have the best of all worlds right now. Good luck in the future.
