Title: GoodKnight 420E Silverlining Software Usage
Description: What to the reports mean? Silverlining

Is there anyplace I can read about the reports produced from the Silverlining softwre that came with my Goodknight 420E?

I'm new - the out of the box adjustment drove me nuts - felt like Darth Vader in a wind tunnel. I dropped the maximum pressure, changed the ramp time, turned on APAP, and set the target pressure to 6 cm (recommended by machine: 8 cm).

The result has beeh excellent - or better - my afternoon naps have been replaced by walks, projects, or just plain living. Better yet, my wife moved back into the bedroom. The noise dropped to the point that she shook me one night to see if I was still alive (is that good or bad).

I'm happy - although I'm still hunting for the perfect mask - but I always feel there is more to be learned.

Thanks for your input /Stu
