dont make the mistake i did of thinking "now i just got my CPAP & that should mean no more messing with any prescriptions".
i just found out that its relatively common that you initial CPAP setting may have to be adjusted as you go through treatment. no wonder i just got my CPAP 2 months ago & now the setting of 12 isnt working & it's making me wake up instead of staying alseep--i just "assumed" the first setting of 12 was the last--but this is the same for some prescritpions for pills where sometimes the 1st prescrption you're given is the "starting point" & they wait to see if that works, if not, you get a change.
wow, wished i knew this when i got CPAP then i wouldn't have sat there thinking, "no more doctor visits & the setting will always work at 12!"
surprise to me!
With any therapy or prescription medication, it's a good idea to watch how you respond and follow-up with your doctor. If you buy a car, do you not get an oil change, tune-up or tires checked? :P
