Hi. New guy here... Have had my CPAP (Respronics) for a while, and am finally on my last filter. It's a Barrierbac 22M by Tyco. Our 'only' choice around here wants like $35 for ONE FILTER. I've seen some that claim they will work on 'any' machine (except auto adjust...mine isn't).
Anyone know of a place either to get the one I have cheaper, or, is a one-filter-fits all ok? (Mine does NOT allow changing just the filter itself, it's a whole plastic cased thing...made to optimize resale value I'm sure!)
Ok, thanks folks!
Vinnie
Have you considered purchasing another CPAP machine? I just purchased one online (Remstar Pro w/ C-flex) for around $375, which uses a 2-filter system (one reusable foam, the other a white microfilter, which can be replaced for as little as $2.33 each).
Is there any reason why you can't just get your CPAP prescription and order one online? Here's one for only $247.50:

cpapetcetera.com has filters with free shipping for all respironics units 9.99 and under
hope this helps
