First off, I owe an apology to our wonderful moderator, ConnCarl. I feel REALLY stupid right about now. We were having a problem with many spam postings here, and months ago, Carl asked me if there were a "visual verfication" method with Invisionfree which would avoid having "automated bots" posting spam messages. I told him that there was not... but I was wrong.

It's call the COPPA registration system. When I read about it months ago, I thought that the only way to use it was to require admin approval for all new members, but I read more info today that said that you don't have to do that.

SO, I enabled the COPPA system on Apnea Board today. This requires an email verification, PLUS a visual verification where users must be able to see the letters/numbers in a graphic and re-type them in the registration form.

I have no idea why I skipped over this info before. Anyway, let's see if this cuts down on the spam.
