I've been told very recently that, while sleeping, I will start taking very short breaths without exhaling and start having minor muscle spasms around my diaphragm and, at times, will stop breathing, which suggests to me SA. My doctor gave me some material to read through, but did not have enough information about my specific symptoms.

Has anyone experienced something similar? Is it SA or some other sleep disorder?
