I have a Remstar Auto and was wondering if and where I could get someone to analyze the readings from my smart card.
Is it worth having someone look at it?
If I had the reader myself could I look at the information and make any sense of it?
Any input would be appreciated.
About me - I have been using the cpap for about a year. After several different masks, I have found that a Resmed Mirage Swift (nasal mask) is the best choice for me. I can sleep all the way through the night with the mask on (most of the time) but I just dont feel like it is doing the trick. I still feel somewhat tired during the course of the day. I am wondering if I need to adjust my machine or not.
Thanks!
Welcome to Apnea Board, boosted.
Your doctor, sleep lab, and/or DME provider should be willing to look over the data from your smart card.
EncorePro, Respironic's proprietary software package, is fairly flexible and relatively easy to use. I was able to download, view, and interpret the data from my RemStar Auto well enough to have an intelligent phone conversation with the respiratory therapist about adjusting the pressure.
If you don't feel as though you're getting restful sleep, you really should have a professional look over the data for you.
Good luck! Carl
