I started the cpap
machine the other day and each nite that I use it all
night long, I wake up early in the morning with my
hands prickling like they've been asleep (when I'm not
even laying on them) and when I get up for the day,
they're swollen like two puffy balloons. It's only
been hapening since I've been on the cpap machine and
it only happens on the nights when I use it all the
way through. The night that I woke up and took it off
after half the night, they were swollen but not nearly
as much as the other nights. I've found some people
online that have experienced this but no one has any
explanation. I even tried calling the pharmacy that
sold me the machine and they've never heard of that.
Since it has happened to other people and since I can
narrow it down to using the cpap machine, there should
be some information somewhere.

peachess - I'd call your doctor. That doesn't seem normal and it may be something more serious that needs to be checked out.
