Epidemic
Skoll, the wolf who chases the Sun and Hati, the wolf who chases the moon, created two packs: the Vanaheimr and the Alfheim. It’s unclear who created which pack, in all honestly, none of the wolves seriously care. They have much bigger things to worry about.
In this remote island, the two packs are just recovering from three years of continuous winter. Spring has finally arrived, but now there is a virus that is steadily dwindling their numbers. There’s no escaping it. The only consolation, pathetic though it might be, is that the contagion spreads slowly. But even so, there is fear aplenty. No one knows how the disease is contracted, so there is anxiety in every aspect of life. And their fear is well placed. The virus isn’t something that kills quickly- it’s a miserable, drawn out torture.
The tension is at its worst between the two packs. For three years, there has been competition between the two. But now, skirmishes break out because both packs blaming the other for causing the break out of sickness. Terror and uncertainty have turned the two groups, once friendly opponents, into the bitterest of enemies.
There is one thing, however, that both packs agree on. In this time of war and sickness, they believe they’re facing their own personal Ragnarok
