Information/Plot Line: The world of Noxt Aislinn is a dark one, where history progressed quite differently. Everything is run on steam, and the Industrial Revolution never stopped. Inventions are the order of the day, and Victorian fashion is still the norm. Strange creatures, things that were not quite human, made themselves known during this time of change, feeling it would be the best time for them to be accepted.
Vampires and werecreatures were instantly seen as a threat, and were forced to register themselves under the Mythical Registration Act. Elves and the fae were simply asked to register as citizens in order to receive the same benefits as humans, though some chose not to in order to avoid paying taxes. Anyone who is not registered through the government cannot receive the health benefits or police assistance that comes with it.
Werecreatures were given some freedoms, and are generally allowed the same treatment as humans, fae, and elves. However, there is a definite amount of racism toward these beast-people.
Vampirism has it's own unique set of rules. Creating new vampires is extremely illegal, as is drinking the blood of someone who is unwilling. New blood banks have opened up to feed the vampire population, who suffer from severe discrimination.
