Information/Plot Line:
A time of great change has swept through the great city of
London. Charles II has been restored to the throne and with him
comes the re-opening of Theatres and the first opportunity for
women to act.
This is a time of excess, of libertinism and debauchery. A time
when morals were forgotten - even by the crown - and poetry
and playwrighting has never been so prolific. The alehouses are
full and religion has begun to make way for science. Women are
fair game and nothing, even the institution of marriage, is sacred.
Dodge the rats hiding in the corners of the streets and step past
the smell of horse excrement and mud, into a time of great
change for Britain and prepare to be whisked away into a period
that was unique amongst its age.
