Must be the holiday rush I suppose which means alot of people are shopping at Wal-Mart the day after Thanksgiving.I can see why they are sold out berry easily. :cpk

Hope you can get them soon.

I haven't seen them yet... but I did see the commercial for them, and they have BALD ones!!! I love the bald ones. :P

I got mine for Amazon becuase since I was little I always wanted a black paci CK baby (I always wanted black dolls for some reason, but never asked for them because I thought that it would be werid in my parents eyes that I was 'white' and wanted them  .) Well, I got her but she reminds me more of an indain baby than a really dark (honey I think it's called?) one....

Awww.... she is so cute!!! I love the face, outfit and hair! She is really cute. They have 2 skin colors for A/A... but she looks like a "dark" skinned one to me? BTW, that is a CPK baby, not a CPK newborn. The newborns are tiny!!!

I want to get an Asian newborn like this one:

Hee..so I'm walking though Wal-mart today, minding my own beeswax, going down the toy lane when I see the CPKs. Nothing different, or any that catch my eye...So I'm walking, walking, walking, and then *bam* there next to the Polly pockets is a lone CPK Newborn, totally out of place and all alone and sad, and her name is Candice :o ! I've always loved the name Candice! So I adopted her in no time flat, the only newborn I have ever seen in my walmart to boot!

OKAY! How small is this Newborn cpk?? I have not seen any of these, if/when we get them I'm certain it will be at TRU, unless they are Walmart exclusives. Anyone know about that?

I did see the Target exclusive Giggling Babies, not sure of their exact name, but I don't really care for talking dolls.

I don't know if they are only at wal-mart, but as far as size goes...

CPK Newborns are a Walmart holiday exclusive! They are like 1/2 the size of a big Kid, so they are tiny when you see them! Not that I've seen any in person, but someone said they fit in the mini BAB outfits... and I saw those outfits at Target and they are SMALL!!!! I would really like a Newborn in a gown! I think they are the cutest in those!

Is there much difference between the 1999 mattel newborns and these new play along newborns? I mean, I am sure they have different head molds and I love the new ones, so I doubt I'll be buying an older one. I am just curious.

I never had a Mattel newborn so I'm not sure of the differences. I do know that the newborn headmolds seem to emulate the ones on the big kids, so I think they are really cute! And the fabric on the outfit is the same as the fabric on the babies' outfit.
