I got the Sylvanian Sheep :lambie family as a gift for Christmas! Since I didn't have a house for them and they seem just the right size for this, I've displayed them on my gingerbread house!

Did you start collecting Sylvanian Families just recently?.I just got a Sylvanian Families calender for free at some mall which I was expecting to pay for it.LOL

Did you get them in Japan since you can get the sheep family in Japan from what you told me a while back.

OMG! Those are adorable! Joyce, are they new or vintage or Japanese? I wonder what other adorable critters they have in that line. I really wanted them (or the other ones, I forget their name) when I was a kid, but didn't get any. The sheep family is so....YOU! :D

The sheep family is a Japanese Sylvanian family. They came out just this past Feb, so they are new! I didn't really collect Sylvanians, but I've adored this figure set since I saw them! So, I'm glad to have them!!! I'm told the Japanese ones don't come with names, so I'll have to think of something appropriately sheepish :)

Bandai made some Hello Kitty figure playsets and I think they are Sylvanian size too and I do have some of those.

Joyce, I think I've seen those HK playsets. They had a house even and you could buy different furniture sets with different HK. I remember considering them for Christmas in 2003...but Taigan was only one then. Do you have a bunch of that stuff? Wasn't there a Grandmother for HK in one of the sets? Cuteness. :hkhappy

I loved the house playset and I wanted to get one when I saw they were like 50% off on Amazon. The one on Amazon was for a complete one, with all the basic furniture already. And I've always loved dollhouses, miniatures, etc! They had all sorts of furniture sets, and each one came with like a different character in the family. Like I think the grandma came with the living room set. Oh, I think the Amazon one didn't come with a bedroom set though, but in Japan, they had the cutest furniture sets you could get! There was even like a little barbecue patio set! I would've happily spent my money on the house and all that furniture if I had the money and the space! I never had a dollhouse as a child!!

If those little lambs & that gingerbread house were not made for each other, I don't know what is! That display looks fabulous! Congrats on your early Christmas gift. I know you're enjoying every second of it. :D
