as a kid in the late '80s, i loved these toys, but hardly remember anything about them...except they were kinda like madballs -- i think they were monsters or creatures with full bodies (one had a mohawk and muscles flexing???). they felt like nerf balls and you could smush and squeeze them. anyone know what i'm talking about? thanks!!!!!!

Are they nerfuls?

Hey! I had totally forgotten about Madballs. I'm not sure what the name of those were but I know what you're talking about. I'm not sure if it was a nerful or not. The name is familiar , but no pic comes to mind.

These sound like Boglins to me. They were round-ish monsters and they were puppets. They came in a box that was like a crate. These were probably around in the late 80's.

Yeah sounds like Boglins to me, some cames in actual little cages which were the earlier Boglins and then the newer ones came in a cardboard like crate. I have a newer one MIB and it squirts water out its nose and its also a hand puppet. If you would like a picture I can work on getting one for you. I know some of the first Boglins are pricey on ebay. i remember my cousin had one and I was never allowd to play with it just look at it.
