Title: Need help identifying

My sis and I are completely stumped by two toys we used to have when we were younger, and it's driving the heck out of us!

The first of these toys were I think the mid to late 80's. They were these animals that came in plastic blue cages. She had a red and yellow bird and I had a brownish-tan rabbit. They were plushies, but I'm not sure about the size, or what other animals they made in the set.

The second toys we had came in three different types. There was a blue dog, a pink cat, and a purple bear (I had the bear, my sister had the cat). I think this one was from the early 90's, though. Anyway, the animals came with a bottle that made sounds. You would push the nipple of the bottle, and drinking sounds came out. There were also buttons on the bottle. You pushed one, and the animal would do something. The cat mewed and purred, and the bear cried and giggled (I think). I also think there was a third button, but I can't for the life of me remember what it was.

Any help is appreciated, and I'm sure my sis will be grateful, too.

ok i had the first one infact i still have it, it is a guinea pig, and they were called PALS. i haven't been able to find them online though unfortunately, i remember they came in blue plastic cages and a sticker page of letters to put on the cage. does this sound like what you had? and the second one i'm not sure about although it sounds vaguely familiar

Is the 2nd doll your talking about the Magic Nursery animal dolls?.I remember I used to own a few of those back in the early 90s.

I was searching things like Zoo Babies and Zoo Born. I know Zoo Born were 9 inch plushie-like animals that made sounds, but I don't know much else about them. The Magic Nursery sounds interesting I'll have to search that one a bit.

After a long search, my sister and I discovered what my second inquiry was. Sis bought a 1990 Sears Wishbook from Ebay, and in it were Magic Bottle Babies. We didn't have the babies, though. We had the Magic Bottle Pets that came out about year later.

My first inquiry, I think was Pet Shop Pals, judging by a description from both here and a site called In the 80's.

it wouldn't be petshop pals because those were small hard plastic toys

I don't think these were it, but by any chance could the first toy be something like "Purr-tenders"? Those were like those animals (Kitties?) in a pet shop that wanted to be adopted so they dressed up like other pets. (The pet shop pals name just reminded me of these that's why I'm asking.)

You sure? I thought the only hard plastic pet shop toys were Littlest Pet Shop.

OK, so I might be wrong about Pet Shop Pals. All I know is that they were different animals, though I'm only familiar with a red and yellow bird and a tan and white bunny. They were plush, and they came in these little light blue plastic cages.
