Title: Barbapapa figures?
Description: Or any info on Barbapapa series at all!

Xara - August 10, 2005 04:05 PM (GMT)
The other day I happened to remember one of my childhood favorite series - Barbapapa. I recall they were on TV with a cartoon of their own and there were also books of them here in Finland. Anyone know what I'm talking about?

Here's a picture if someone doesn't know what's Barbapapa.

I was wondering if anyone has figures made out of Barbapapa? I have seen some retro-figures, but those were too expensive for me. :P Does anyone know anything about Barbapapa figures or their rarity? There must be old figures from the 80's too, know anything about those?

Thanks if you can help! ^^

Crap! xara, your link to the Barbapapa is incorrect...it just takes me back to your post. :( I've never heard of them and I'd like to see what they are.

Uhm, the only thing I can think of that has a similar name and was a cartoon is Babar...which is a royal elephant family.

barbapapa

I don't know why the above link doesn't work... it looks formatted correctly... but just in case:

I have seen them in the stores... but I'm not familiar with them otherwise.

Try copy-pasting the address I posted... I'm not sure why the link is acting weird. It works fine if you copy-paste the address into the address bar...

I noticed the weirdness of the link too.. odd. o_o Well, there's just a pic of Barbapapa-cartoon.

I actually found out more about Barbapapa figures on a Finnish board already. Darn that those figures are so expensive, I might not want them afterall! *grins*

I recall that Barbapapa was mentioned a bit ago by another member...
Here's the thread if you want to look it over:

My Finnish friend gave me this site where you can buy figures:

Hope that helps. She said that's all she knew about them actually! LOL

Hi. I posted about the Barbas a while ago. I have 2 comic book type storybooks and that is all. Hardly anyone remembers these! They were so neat.
Barba Poppa, Barba momma, barbabo, barbalala, barbabright? name some more!
