Post here if you've seen the new CPK babies !

I have not seen them in person, just on the net and I saw a cleared shelf at my Target with the price sticker that read CPK babies! I can not wait! I hope they get one that I want. :D

PA15 has 3 little baby teeth... they are really cute!!!

BOYS: they are the only ones that come as baldies (I haven't seen any baldies in person yet)


This is my baby!!

PA18 (which is what my baby is) has an upper lip divet... you can see it when you are buying if you look over the top of the pacifier as you tilt the box forward.

PA16 apparently has 2 upper teeth behind the pacifier... I thought they were scary... so the only way to distinguish between my baby and the PA16 (in the box at the store) is to check for the lip divet!

Babies also have innie or outie belly buttons... (this is a pic of the innie)

I called Target and Kmart this morning and they both gave me an affirmative that they have the new babies! I'm going to see if they have my baby today. :D

I did not make it to Kmart. :( I stopped by walmart and they have the shelf space reserved and the babies will be $18.something, so I'm hoping to find my baby there when they get put on the shelf. Target had them, so I did get to see them up close. Oh, they are adorable! They had one I would have bought if she'd had either a cuter outfit, a better birthday, or cornsilk hair. She had the light brown hair with two pigtails and curly bangs and denim blue eyes. Her outfit was yellow though and I didn't think it was cute. I nearly bought the little Asian one instead, but decided to just wait and see if I couldn't find my baby at Walmart or Kmart. They are $24.99 at Target and probably the same at Kmart, but it'll be worth paying that if it's the right one.

I do not know when I'll go out looking again.

Oh! I know how you feel Mel!!! The first store where I saw babies, they only had 3. And I *did* buy the Asian one because I figured I better buy her since she had the right face/hair!! I really wanted a fall birthday or a different outfit though... and the other 2 babies at the store had *really* cute outfits (one was even in the pink lamb outfit), and my baby's outfit was kind of plain. But it worked out for me! I was able to trade outfits and get one I liked better (not the pink lamb one, but I like it better than the one she was in). Oh... I also wanted different accessories than the ones that came with my baby... but I'm supposed to be getting those too from someone else. LOL

But, it would've been great if I had found any babies at Walmart. $18 is such a good price!! (That's less than any of my CPK's from the 80's!)

I *do* hope that when your Walmart gets them in, you'll be able to get first pick of the ones there and find your perfect baby!! :hug

After another day of shopping for my baby, I'm happy to announce that I found one today!

Here is Taigan with her two cpk. She got Venice Myrilla for Christmas and today she picked out Jordyn Mattie (May 16th) and the tea party outfit for Venice.

Wow!!! Big shopping day for you Mel!!! I love Jordyn's outfit and she has the same bday as one of my kids! I'm glad you found your cornsilk girl and a baby with the bun hair style!!! I love the denim blue eyes...

I went out shopping too... and I saw 1 new Asian baby girl (cute hair but I didn't like her face)... and took some pics of kids that I thought could interest you. (none were exactly right though).

Mel... these were the ones I saw that I thought might interest you... I'm still looking for that golden blonde/denim blue cornsilk baby for you though. Even though you bought a bunch already... these are the ones I took pics of!!

I was sooo tempted to buy this girl for myself! I think she has the darker brown hair though... I think I just love the brown hair/denim blue eye combo!


Then I saw this girl at Target.... she has the lighter brown hair than the girl in the above pic...


And this one was in the lamb outfit... loopy pigtails:


And then I saw this cornsilk girl... but she has a lot of freckles...


I did also see a tan yarn girl with blue eyes and just a few freckles... but I didn't take a pic since she wasn't a cornsilk.

I love them all! I like the brown hair and denim blue eyes combo too and I if I see that combo first on a baby, I'd definitely buy her. Either the golden blond or the brown hair is fine with me. And I love those happy smiles! I saw the cutest Asian baby yesterday...Taigan almost bought her, but decided against it because she said she already had a baby at home. Anyway, really adorable smile and no pacifier. I actually saw at least one Asian baby girl at every store, except Walmart (still no dolls out). I think the babies in your area have much cuter outfits though. I really like the lamb outfit and outfits with a beanie hat.

Thanks for thinking of me. I think you picked out a bunch of cuties! I really like that kid. I think her eyes are bit too squinty, but I like her hair, eyes, freckles, smile and that is my favorite outfit. :D I am in love with my kid, Sierra, though. I actually looked at her the last time I was in Target and almost bought her then, but convinced myself that I didn't like her outfit. But, when I saw her yesterday, after searching so many stores for two days in a row, I thought she was perfect. :D And I still think so. I want to take her out of the box and play with her hair and try on her cute Asian Style outfit, but I'm also afraid that I'll mess her up or not be able to display her in her box if I do that.

I'm so glad that you got your cornsilk after looking for so long!! Who'd have thought that after months of looking, you find all your CPKs at once? LOL I love the hair & I think that hairstyle stays in place pretty well, if you wanted to redress her! I imagine that the hair might get frizzy if you played with it too much, but I heard some people put like frizz-ease or baby oil to tame the frizzies.

BTW, I forgot to tell you how cute that picture is of Taigan with her CPKs!!! She looks like a big CPK herself! So huggable!! :hug That's so cute that Taigan already learned about not buying another baby when she has one at home.

I think I'm in love with that first little baby that I post yesterday!! The more I look at her pic, the more I want to run back to the store to get her!! LOL

But, I really want an Asian with that face and maybe in the pink lamb outfit! So, I'm going to try holding out until at least I find an Asian baby with that face. I'd say I'd go buy that other baby and then return her if I find the Asian baby... but I know once I get her home, I'd be taking her out of the box! :cpk

That Asian baby I saw with the super happy smile had three little baby teeth, they were so cute. Play Along did really well with these babies! When we were looking at the CPK at Kmart, Taigan looked up and said, "Look, Mom, a bunny one!" And it was one of those first CPK with the teeth and what Cindie refers to as the 'horse face'. LOL

I feel very satisfied with my CPK, so I'm in no hurry to buy another one, but if I see the right one, I'll scoop her up. I imagine you have an entire room filled with lambs and cpk now, Joyce! Where do you keep them all?

Oh, and thanks, I also thought it was good that Taigan didn't want to get another cpk since she already had one at home, but when I got two of them at Target, she wanted one too, so I told her to pick one.

I hope they release some babies outfits too. The Tea Party one for the bigger CPK is so cute, I didn't even realize how cute it was until I dressed Venice in it. :wub:

Hey Mel... the Asian baby with the 3 teeth that you saw, do you remember what hairstyle or outfit she was wearing? I really want an Asian with the 3 teeth! And I like almost all the hairstyles (except I don't like the supercurly on the Asians). I need the inside info! :cpk

I went to about 5 stores today... only saw 1 Asian and she had all the wrong things about her (wrong face, wrong outfit and wrong hair!) I did see an Asian yarn hair girl at Target last week too, but she wasn't quite right either. I might go out looking tomorrow too. It looks like all the stores in the area have the babies now.

I did see 2 "you" babies though... one was the tan yarn bun hair style like the baby you got, but she had the blue outfit with the floral booties/bib & a blue pacifier (I think she had the same headmold as my baby) & I also saw a golden blonde cornsilk girl with the denim blue eyes! I took her pic for you (she has the same headmold as your yarn hair baby-- the one with the left cheek dimple):


BTW, even though I'm so CPK-obsessed, I'm actually quite good about it... I try to tell myself that I will only buy Asians... there are less of those, so it's easy not to go overboard! So, I actually only have 4 CPKs right now! My yarn hair girl, a cornsilk boy (I never did find "my" cornsilk girl), a baby, and then one "extra" (she's A/A) that I didn't intend to keep! LOL

I got her when the A/A CPKs were on sale for cheap... and I bought her for her outfit... and I intended to try to sell the CPK or give it away. But after I got her home, I ended up loving her in *that* outfit... and I couldn't separate them! So, then I kept her. :P Funny... even though I love the Asians, I think that A/A is the prettiest one I have! She has nice coloring and her dress complements her well.

I seriously have been considering buyine one of the AA ones too since they are on sale for $18 right now. I am trying to recall the Asian babies I've seen.

I remember there were two Asians at TRU, but not much else about them. I think one had yarn hair and one had cornsilk hair.
At Kmart, that is where I saw the super cute 3 teeth baby. I want to say she was in the pink outfit with a pink pacifier, but I'm not for sure. And I can't recall whether her hair was yarn or cornsilk! I thougt she was THE CUTEST baby I'd ever seen though, so I may stop there and get a picture for you. I really wanted Taigan to buy her and I am sure that she is still there. No one shops at Kmart around here!

I'm grabbing my camera right now! And I love that picture of that baby in that blue/pink outfit! I haven't seen that outfit yet, maybe I will today. :D

Oh!!! Mel... did you get your CPKs at Target?? Target is having a SALE on the babies this week... it's in their weekly ad!!! $19.88 and then 15% off all other CPK stuff. I think you can bring your receipt in and get a price adjustment since you JUST bought them last week. (I did that once before with SSC stuff... I don't remember the "time limit" maybe like just for the previous week's purchases).

LOL... I'm mentioning that because Yup... I bought some stuff from Target today (Saturday)!!! And I was going to go to another one tomorrow and I'll see if I can get my price adjustment on the stuff I just bought! I'll have to post what I bought on the other post! (I saw a ton of cute stuff today but forgot my camera!!!!)

I told my husband I wanted a CPK baby for Rain, and he said, "then let's go get one!" we went to walmart and Kmart, and couldn't find any good ones! Both stores only had about 3 in each. Walmart was selling them for $18!!! I really, really want a girl in pink (or purple) with dark brown hair and brown eyes. even then AA one would be fine, as Rain has a pretty tan. It HAS to have a pacifier... preferably with the lip divet... so no teeth! we're going to go look at Target today. Kmart had an AA CPK baby with a pacifier... but she was wearing blue... and I really didn't care for the outfit at all! then even if I buy a new outfit, she'll still have a blue pacifier! I really wish they'd carry more of these!

I'm so jealous, cause it seems like the stores in your areas carry much better selection! I wouldn't even have the perfect cpk kid that I do, had it not been for Melanie finding it for me! :(

OMG! they had these CPK babies with the curliest hair poofing WAY OUT from the baby's head! have you seen those! that's a funny hairstyle!

Well, Cindie, I'll take my camera out while I'm at Target today and see if there are any brown hair/eye combo babies with PINK pacifiers. :D I need to go get my Asian boy and Joyce's Asian girl before the sale is over! And I most definitely did take my receipt in and have the price adjusted...that saved me almost $16 dollars. And their time limit is two weeks, it has to be 14 days or less. :D

Melanie... did you get your money back on the Tea Party outfit too? Or did you get that from another store?

The babies with pink pacifiers seem really hard to get in a Caucasian baby... I mostly see blue or purple ones! I really want a pink pacifier too... I hope they sell some of this stuff separately!!

I bought the tea party set at Kmart.

I didn't see any Asian babies today! That really sucks. I really want to go back and either get a Sam's Club membership or look at Kmart. I can't believe there just aren't that many places to buy cpk babies around here!

I got one!!! okay... so it's for Rain, but I can still enjoy it! well, I didn't find the one I was looking for... which means I will have to keep looking! BUT!! when I saw this one, I thought it was soooo cute! and Rain instantly fell in love with it. Sean said we should buy it since we both loved it so much. It's just so cute!! then Sean says, "But I thought you wanted a girl" I said, "it is a girl! isn't it?" then Sean points out to me that the girls' birth certificates are in pink envelopes, and the boys' in blue. then he says the name is Dalton, which is a boy. well... we got it anyways! I still like it, even if it IS a boy!!


I also bought Rain a generic stroller, since I can't find a CPK one. Here's Rain soooo excited and pushing her new baby!

Thanks Joyce! I need a baby girl CPK now! but I couldn't resist. I wasn't going to get him... but then I knew that if I didn't, I'd regret it later. I really think he is just adorable! He doesn't have any bottoms though! just his diaper. Speaking of which, they sell packs of diapers separately, and they have the CPK symbols on them... whereas the ones they come with are just plain white. I was thinking of buying a pack of diapers and changing them out!

Cindie, your cpk babies boy looks just like mine! Well, the way mine would have had I bought him when I saw him last week. I looked for him yesterday, but didn't find him. :( Anyway, congratulations on finding one and Rain looks very happy. Congratulations to her too. **I just called the Super Target and asked if they had any cpk babies boys...and they said yes. They have one and his name is Jay Byron! I have a dermatologist appointment later and then I'm going to st to see if that is MY Jay Byron. I'm sure it is. I looked all over that danged toy section yesterday for him. I wonder where he was hiding? :D

LOL! Megan said Rain has been carrying her CPK around all day today hugging and kissing him. Then Rain went and laid her CPK baby in her bed, and Megan said, "whatcha doing?" and Rain turned around, put her finger to her lips and said, "Shhh!!!" LOL. everytime I smell the CPKs sweet smell, I want to hug and kiss them too! :love

Joyce, after I found Jay at my Super Target, I did go back to Target to scour the shelves one more time. I looked everywhere! No luck finding that little girl for you though. I wonder why no other dolls have been sold, except the ones I've bought! I swear, both Targets and Walmarts have exactly the same stock. Now, at TRU, there were two dolls sold that I didn't buy, and I know at least one of them was Asian, but I still think it stinks that Tracy is gone. You know I actually looked for her on eBay. I can't imagine anyone in this town buying her for themselves when all those other Asian cpk are still on the shelves a year after they've been put there. I fear there won't be any new babies in unless I buy some more. :smurfywink

I am just too in love with my Jay Byron. I mean it, I didn't think it was possible to love a doll so much at my age. :lol: I made him a pair of pants...the ones you see in the picture of my three kids, but they were a little bit too small for him. As it is, his diaper was down when I took him out of the box, so he was giving me the plumber and these too small shorts/bloomers didn't help that at all. So, I've just finished a bigger pair for him. They are actually not quite as cute as the first pair, but at least they fit him. I had him sitting on the couch between me and Jon and I got up to get a drink and when I came back Jay was upside down with his legs against the back of the couch and his little blankie over his head! I asked Jon if he put Jay like that and Jon said, "no, he said, 'watch this!' and that's how he's been ever since." :lol:

Melanie, your Asian baby boy has the lambie clothing!!! and the shorts ARE perfect!!! I wish I could sew! I'm 'sew' jealous! My/Rain's CPK baby has the plumber bum too... and I'm always trying to pull the diaper up higher. LOL

I really like the cornsilk hair! only Megan has a CPK with cornsilk hair. All 3 of Rain's have yarn hair.

Cindie, I thought that Jay had the lamb outfit too, but on closer inspection, I think they are sheep dogs...or fluffy poodles. There is a blue 'spot' around each of the creatures eyes...like pupcake. And I think our babies could be brothers! What is yours' name and birthday? Mine is Jay Byron, May 5th. He has an innie. :D

LOL Melanie! I called those lambies! The pink lambie outfit has the same "animal" on it only in pink. *I'm* going to around believing it's a lambie. I want a little asian boy in that... maybe a baldie... :lambie
