Oh I ended up going to a Halloween party on Saturday and whipped together a costume of a Living Dead Doll, Nurse Necro. LOL

Okay, so The Night Before Halloween, we carved our pumpkins while listening to Halloween songs. :D





And then on Halloween, it was a mad rush to get the kids dressed up and I couldn't find the zipper that would go in my witch dress, so I just made myself up as a cat like Taigan. :D

Hey, thanks for the compliment on my 'outfit'. :lol: I really did just throw it together from my own wardrobe. I have lots of black and white striped tights and socks and arm warmers and arm warmers with finger holes. LOL Plus, my dickies dress over a velvety black long sleeved dress...I think my dickies dress is very similar to Nurse Necros dress style, except it goes in a little in the waist. I can't believe you made that hat! It looks great.

I totally hated the dress's style that I had to wear. It was the most unflattering style for a dress!! It TOTALLY poofed out from the hips and really made me feel self conscious. lol I wanted a dress that was more like what the doll is wearing. But since we decided to go at the last minute I really didn't have the luxury of looking for a different dress. I actually sewed that extra cross on the dress on peeled off a stupid felt heart (which was a "sticker" basically) that was on the see through top part. I also wish I would've been able to find the white and red striped tights but ohhhh well! LOL Next year I want to be either Cookie or Kitty (they are both Living Dead Dolls, btw) Even though no one has a clue of who the heck I am suppose to be! :D

I totally LOVE what you happened to "throw together" my dear! I LOVE the striped arm warmers and stockings! You face make up is so cute. I was trying to just buy the cat headband and I would've worn that too but I could NOT for the life of me find any on Thursday. You girls should've seen WM too. They were CLEARED out!! LOL

I think the most creative costume I ever had was when I was Little Red Riding Hood. I've always wanted to dress like little bo peep though!

LOL Joyce, I thought you would have been Little Bo Peep!! My husband's sister was Little Bo Peep this year, and she looked great! she even had that huge staff/cane thing (sorry... my name drew a blank just now as to what it's called!)

Cindie, you can buy Living Dead Dolls at Hot Topic and some comic stores, oh and ebay of course. lol I got one of mine when Melanie picked one up for me at Hot Topic and the other I was able to get at a store that sells cards and action figures. I know you can order them through local comic stores too. Unfortunately, we don't have a comic store in town anymore :( Also, there are online stores that sell them (mostly comic type stores). I have ordered a few minis from online stores recommended by Mezco (the co. that makes LDD). The dolls also have an EZboard (but I've only visited and never chatted). If you look up Cookie and Kitty...they are very cool and would make awesome Halloween costumes. lol I would LOVE to be Inferno too. If you get a chance, look up those dolls some time :D

omg, I forgot to tell you about Taigan! Okay, so this was the first Halloween that she actually trick-or-treated. Her first two, I made her a witch's dress and I still have her hat with tags, she was tiny and it was really cold, so she stayed with my mom. Anyway, so I have some rules about trick-or-treating, like my kids have to use driveways and sidewalks to get to the front porch of houses, no walking on the grass unless it can't be helped, hold hands when crossing the street, say trick-or-treat and thank you and Happy Halloween, things like that. I usaully don't go to the door with them, but stand in the driveway and call Happy Halloween to the candy givers. :D Anyway, so we were telling Taigan what to say and she would walk up to the door with her brothers and she would knock. Once or twice she just knocked continuously and I had to call to her to stop knocking. And she would say things like "trick or candy" (tricker nanny) and when the kids would say "happy halloween" she would say "happy birthday" (happy bertday) ANd when the giver would open the door, she would say, "Mine" at the candy. Not mean, just matter of factly. Sometimes she would say thank you. And sometimes she would just say "my nanny" and then she would come back to me and tell me that she got candy at that house. Only, she really speaks her own language and it sounds like she's saying that the house gave her candy. And I tried to get her to say Happy Halloween one time and she said, Happy Birthdayween. LOL :lol:

Cindie, I really love them. Other dolls I really like that are "similar" are the Bleeding Edge Goth dolls. I have Morbida and she is very very cool! :D
As far as Living Dead Dolls go... Cookie, Kitty, Jinx and heck cat, and Inferno are my top favorites :)

OMG! I love the Trick and Treat ones! I'm watching one set on eBay right now. I showed Sean and he said, "ew! what do you want that for?" LOL

I made a Christmas wish list, and it's all toys!!! I feel like a kid again! I saw the new ones at hottopic.com, the 7 deadly sins... I like Wrath the best. I think Jinx is awesome! I also really like Sadie and Dottie Rose... and Sybil! she's really cool! I'm going to buy them now! I don't like the Fashion Victims though!

I also like Dottie Rose. Oh and Lulu is very cool. I am super psyched that they have her (and Inferno, she's one of the coolest) as a mini. I think I will get them both! *wink*

I think the next dolls I get will either be when we got out of town or I may buy via an online store I've bought from before. :)

The Hot Topics here have NONE!!! except the Fashion Victims and some minis. I'm watching a Dottie Rose, that ends tomorrow! Thanks for starting me on another addiction, Erin!
oh, and the shoes come off my Eerie mini, and her toe nails are painted! how cute is that? they had the Lulu mini.. I think I'll go back for her.

Inferno is awesome and if I saw her physically in front of me, I would have to get her. lol It's bad enough I will eventually break down and get her. I also LOVE Eggzorcist too! The one with the purple hair (not the dark hair - there is more than one version).

well, I just love vintage clothing, and the "good ole days", so I like Dottie cause she's in that 50's dress, with her pink hair! I love Sybil! I will HAVE to get those two, then Wrath... then I should be satiated for a while. (a small while, LOL!)
