I am a supporter of the ASPCA, so I definately agree with you.

LOL. thanks, i work at a shelter that does have to put animals to sleep and i am so sick of hearing "but its a pedigree" which means nothing there are tons of purebred dogs in the shelter. and i'm tired of "i want my dog to have babies"

:hug Yeah, don't get me started talking about the animals....I will rant and rave about them for hhhoouurrs.. I was brought up to respect them AS MUCH as I do people...and some people just neglect, abuse etc. animals which drives me mad! :argh

There are so many ways that animals are smarter than people, and so many mysteries about them that we still don't know about..ok. see what you started? :lol:

LOL. i know how you feel about ranting and raveing i have seen it all. i once did an intake(thats what it is called when animals come into the shelter intakes) on a dog that was a bag of bones i got all the info needed so the ASPCA can prosecute, and just recently a PASTOR hit his dog in the head with a brick because he wanted to put the dog out of its misery because the dog was sick. but the dog was still alive and had internal bleeding and a crushed head, that b*stard, the dog was taken to a vet and put down, his info was also given to the ASPCA.
sorry for the sad stories but this is the kind of stuff us animal shelter workers see every day. it is reallly saaad

I could never work in an animal shelter or an emergency animal hospital. I'm much too sensitive and break down in tears and despair at the suffering of animals. I am just not strong enough as a human to see animals suffering on a daily basis.
