When I was 5yrs old I got this doll for Christmas she was called Baby Heather she was an expensive doll that wore a pink onesie and was electronic. You could set her at 3 different ages: newborn, 6 months, 1 year (I think) and she would behave accordingly. She cried, slept, ate, etc. She was my favorate doll in the world. Only a few monthes after I got her I was admitted to the local childrens hospitial for tests. I went in to have a MRI I think but when I came back she was gone. Someone stole her off my hospitail bed. I was crushed. My mom tried to find another one but by then they had stopped selling her. I would give anything to have her back does anyone know where I can get one?

I can't say that I've ever seen this doll before, but I've recently come across a couple of descriptions of this doll on various sites. But, the descriptions are much like yours.

The best advice I can give is for you to search eBay. I'm sure you've done that, but you never know when someone is going to list this doll. Also try searching eBay.ca and any other countries that can be translated via the babelfish translator site. :D

Also, this is an active Doll Trading forum: Doll Mama's Den with recent posts, so I'd give that a whirl.

Also another tidbit of advice is that when you search on eBay, get an advanced search going, but don't search for the doll name of Heather and exclude words like: Barbie, porcelain, rag etc.

Do you know what year she came out? (You said she came out when you were 5, but I don't know when you were born.)

edit: nevermind... I found out more info on her which might help in your search. She apparently came out in 1987 (or at least, she won a 1987 toy award of the year) and was made by Mattel.

:elmo I am sorry but I could not find anything about Baby Heather except multiple people are looking for them on different forums. Everyone has stated that they still have theirs minus the legs, arms, etc...a lot of broken necks out there :grover Hopefully someone will be able to find you one. :lambie
