:elf Does anyone remember the line of tinkerbell cosmetics for girls back in the late 70's to mid 80's? I am looking for a good website and/or one to purchase some of the line. It use to have perfumes, makeup, powder, peel off finger nail polish....maybe some of you guys near my age will remember. I know through research that the line has changed manufacturing companys throughout the years, but I cannot find the actual product on-line. Please help.. :woodpink

I don't know about the current manufacturer, but I *do* remember the products! I always thought the perfume smelled bad. LOL And I remember the peel-off nailpolish! I remember I used to try to make my own "nailpolish" from Elmer's glue that I colored with food coloring!

I used to get this stuff on holidays. :D I even found a four pack containing the cologne, shampoo, conditioner and bubble bath at my Granny's two years ago. I had it still nrfp (nowhere near mint though, it was all faded) until a few months ago when I opened it and gave it to my daughter. LOL I didn't think I'd find anyone interested in owning it besides myself.

:grover LOL yeah the perfume did smell bad but here is my story behind the line:

When I was really little about 4 or 5 years old there was this really old drug store in my hometown. The way to get to my dentist was through the drug store down some stairs in the basement. I know it's a bizarre place to have a dentist but there was one there. Anyway, any time we went to the dentist and I was a "good girl" we would pop back up through the drug store and my mom would buy me a "tinkerbell" product. Those were some good memories...keep your eyes peeled for me!! :carebear
