Title: CPK poseable
Description: custom repaint

I painted this CPK poseable asian-style... :cpk
Before & After:

I wanted to do a kid with hair, but then I'd have to figure out how to redo the yarn too!
BTW, I repainted the arms and legs the flesh tone too. I wasn't going to do that, but I noticed some of the original yellow color of the sleeve was on the arm, and I couldn't cover up that part otherwise... and I wasn't going to paint that part red!

Joyce! That is soooo cute! What a cool idea!
I wouldn't be able to tell the difference between store bought and custom.
Great job!! :woo

That does look great1 Did you use the craft acrylic paints? Is there a protective coating or are you just going to be really careful?!
Are you going to do more? Maybe you could dye the hair instead of rerooting it.
BTW, I have a CPK item that I can't identify. I'll post in the questions section, maybe you will know.

My custom paint job looks a lot better in that photo than it does in real life. It's more streaky in person! LOL But I was happy with how it turned out. I had been wanting to make my own Asian CPK poseables! I wasn't going to repaint the outfit at first, but after I did the eyes, the rest of the outfit looked too pale.
I used regular craft acrylic paints and it has a matte varnish/sealer over it. The matte varnish has a slight gloss to it. The paint without the sealer has no gloss to it!

I've painted things exactly as you did with this CPK and it turns out nicely (especially with the sealer/varnish). Again I must say, great job! :love
