I was 7-8 when these came out, and had one I loved to death. Many hours in the pool (funny, I still can't swim) making her tail symbol disappear and come back with warm and cold water. Funny, I found the one I had (pink hair, green fin, moon and stars symbol just a week ago 2nd hand):

OMG.......I soooooo remember My Pretty Mermaid.I had the one on the left which was the pink haired and the yellow fin.I remember owning a few others and had a My Pretty Mermaid book called Wave Dancer is Missing.Best of all,I'm berry suprised that I found someone else that remembers this MLP-like toyline. :mlp

I do remember the disapearing symbol on the fin that you would dip in cold water and warm water in warm water. :lol:

I was too old for these dolls too... around 9th grade I think.
