Everyone who I describe this toy to looks at me as if I'm crazy, including my mother who bought it for me. The toy was some sort of interior design drafting kit. you could pick out different rooms, furniture, plants etc and design rooms. I believe you would just trace the image, but for some reason everytime I think of it I compare it with Barbie fashion plates, but I dont believe there were any "plates" in this toy.
I know this is vague, but it's driving me nuts trying to think of it.
Thanks for any help.
I can't believe how familiar this sounds. You are NOT crazy. I truly remember something like this but do not know what it is either. I will look around and see if anything comes up... Good luck and let us know if you find out what it is. :)
Still have no clue what this toy is, glad it sounds familiar to someone though!
Thanks for your help, and if I ever do find out what it was I'll let you know! :cheesecake
It sounds familiar to me too! Only I have it mixed with Barbie Fashion plates and colorforms in my head. I'll have to remember to have a look around the net for things similar.
This sounds very familiar to me too. It's like I can almost see it! I wish I knew what it was called.
I know this wasn't the exact toy you were looking for... but I came across this "architect" toy...
http://storeforknowledge.com/Young-Archite...-P3365C271.aspxIt looks like you build rooms and then "draw" in the details using templates??
I'm thinking I don't really remember this toy at all! I found this on eBay:
Raggedy Ann colorforms-like play house And I think the thing I remember was more like this.
