She was a bigger doll with long blonde or white hair, and when you wet her hair (I think wet it) it turned different colors, like a candy cane. I say white because I think it turned red or pink. Ringing any bells?

Thanks for the welcome. I also seem to recall her having a heart or maybe a star on her cheek, might just be the lack of sleep. :huh:

I did some searches and I think the doll I remember was Lil Miss Make-up © 1977, 1988 by Mattel. I couldn't find much info, but that doll fits the description of everything I remember. None of the pictures I saw look familar though.

I had a baby doll very similar to a CPK that when you wet the spongy ice cream cone and put it on his mouth it would make a "messy face". He had a star on his cheek that would change to a heart when you got it wet. I can't remember the name of this doll though. I think it's still in the attic at my dad's house.

Yes, she was very similiar to that. I did have those Lil Miss Makeup Dolls, and I think I found the one I was talking about. I found a McDonalds toy called Lil Miss Candystripes, and although I cant find an actual doll of her anywhere I think this was her!
