Ok I recently acquired three near complete and minty Cherry Merry Muffin dolls (first year) and they are just so cute. I, myself, never had the dolls growing up, my little sister did though and I never realized how adorable they are! I love that they are scented and have a little pet guy with them. Anyway, does anyone else remember them? I have Chocolottie, Banancy (banana one), and I think the other one is Apple Betty or something like that (blue dress and red hair). I am not sure if I will keep them and add yet another collection. It is so tempting! :lol:

I don't quite remember Cherry Merry Muffin because I don't think I ever played with her. I think my memories are of commercials! LOL But, I had a friend send me a bunch of pics of the dolls/playsets, and they are cute!

I have to take some pics of the ones I have. For me, they seem to be even cuter in person. LOL
I was the same way with the 1991 Strawberry Shortcake dolls. They weren't as impressive in a pic but when you have them right in your hand, you just melt. :lol:

I had to look CMM up on ebay... and I don't remember her... I do think she's cute though.

These are the first year Cherry Merry Muffin dolls which came out in 1988. These images should be clickable thumbnails. I was very fortunate to get these dolls NEARLY complete. Two out of the three have their htf hairbows! :)

I am not familiar with little miss cmm, but she is cute! Reminds me a bit of the Kelly dolls, which are adorable. I think I have some CMM napkins and birthday invitations around here somewhere, or I might have thrown them out. Dawn gave them to me once in a lot of stuff. :)

Yep they all have a little scent to them (which is really cool). I think Betty Berry smells the best. lol
Their faces really do look similar to Kelly dolls, Melanie, although they are a lot bigger in size. They are probably about 6-6 1/2 inches (so about an inch or so taller than SSC dolls :D

wow, really? I wouldn't have thought they were that big by looking at the pics. That makes me really want to see them in person. I like their little accessories. Are they poseable? I'm betting they are. Oh, and I think I have that blue dress with the cupcake on it somewhere around here. :lol:

Yep they are jointed at the arms and legs and then their head turns (just as SSC dolls do). I'll have to take a pic of one next to a Strawberry Shortcake doll so you can see the size better. :) They are really neat!

Very cool Joyce! Aren't they adorable?!?! I love how they fold up into cakes or pies. LOL These dolls are so cute. I still will post a pic soon of a CMM doll next to a SSC doll so you can see how big they are.
