Title: Fraggle Rock Dvd!
Description: Where it all began

I found this yesterday at Walmart. It is not officially supposed to be released until next month, but Walmart got some exclusive contract to sell advanced copies. I think it is to see how well they sell so they can decide weather or not to make more. So, what are you waiting for? Go buy one cuz I need the Fraggles on dvd. Seriously. Go.
Okay, about the dvd. It didn't have any inserts, just the dvd, which was a little disappointing, but I got over it. I watched the show. It said that it had two episodes: Beginnings (which is the very first FR episode) where you are introduced to what Fraggles are and how they live, you meet Marjory the Trash Heap and Uncle Travelling Matt ventures out into 'Outer Space'. LOL The second episode, Wembly and the Gorgs, is great. The thing that surprised me was that there was no pause between the two episodes, one went right into the other. Maybe that is how the very first episode was, two episodes in one, but I didn't think so. Anyway, there are two bonus episodes as well, Let the Water Run (love this one so much) and Pingu is Introduced. So that is FOUR episodes of Fraggle Rock, all remastered to be as good of quality as they were when they first aired on HBO in January of 1983, for less than ten dollars! :D

Cindie, I can't remember the exact price but it was nine something...under ten bucks. It auto plays in my/the kids' dvd player, so I just let it play over and over all day while I was cleaning Taigan's room. :D

Melanie, I saw some vhs rentals of Fraggle Rock at a local video store. They each had two episodes per tape and one had a Christmas theme and the other one was more of a Halloween type theme. Have you seen those ones at all anywhere??
berry elvish - October 11, 2004 03:52 AM (GMT)
I haven't seen those, Erin! And I can't remember any holiday themed Fraggle episodes either. I have a friend who has them on vhs (Fraggle Rock), but I gave up on vhs a few years ago and am only buying dvd. AND I don't get to any rental stores because we live in a rural area. I would love to see those tapes though. I will have to request that my mom look for them. If you see them again, would you find out their exact names? Thanks. :D

Yes I certainly will! I wish I would've checked in here earlier because we were just there a few hours ago!
