Title: My Little Pony
Description: only need 2
wonderberry - September 23, 2004 02:33 PM (GMT)
the only MLPs I had growing up were Moondancer and Starshyne. I don't really collect MLP, but lately, I've been wanting just those two... but they go for so much on eBay! and I hate fighting with fellow bidders!
(If you're not familiar with the MLP names, they're the only two pictured in my banner below!)
I don't suppose anyone has any extras they'd be willing to sell? :(

Cindie, I will be looking out for you on those two! They are oh so pretty. Starshine is gorgeous with her rainbow hair :D

Thanks Erin!
I'll have to scan my picture of me with MLP when I was a kid, in front of my MLP castle. I really liked those two.

I love the rainbow ponies! Starshine was the pony I wanted, but CPK's came out before I ever got it.

Oh I can't wait to see your pic with your MLPs! How cool! :D
The rainbow ponies are cute, aren't they? It's weird too because MLPs were big in my area just after CPKs. lol I got my CPK in first grade and the next year I remember a friend in my class brought in all her MLPs (she had tons because she had to two older sisters!) and all the girls were jealous!! LOL!! Shortly thereafter, I was hooked on MLPs for a few years. LOL!!

I will scan my pics tomorrow, and post them here Wednesday! I also have an old journal entry I wrote when I was a kid, with the MLP stickers stuck in there! So, I will scan those too! :cheesecake

Too cool!!
You know, I have this old album at my mom's house in NY full of old stickers and I know I have some of the MLP puffy stickers that came with the ponies! LOL I can't wait to go searching for them (I did see that album a few years back too so I know they are around still) :D
I can't wait to see your pics!! :) :)

I just won a Moondancer on ebay! so I will no longer need her....
I still need Starshine though....!!
I'd also like Parasol and Baby Blossom now too!! LOL and now it starts....

Yep, now you're an MLP addict, Cindie. :D I can only remember having Blossom, I think. I had quite a few actually and the board game, but I only really remember Blossom and the board game because I bought those with my own $ when I was a kid (birthday), so it was a big deal. Anyone have a link to a MLP id site? :D

Congrats to you Cindie! That is awesome!! :)
As far as a good MLP site:
http://www.dreamvalley-mlp.com/index.htmlDream Valley is a great MLP resource.
I always go there. :)
Also, another favorite for IDing is:
http://www.geocities.com/jen_2001_2001/indexofmlpi-r.html(this site is secondary since sometimes the pages are unavailable as a result of exceeding bandwidth)
Blossom is very special to me as well. I have her in minty mint condition and she's one of my favorites of all my collections. lol She is special to me because she was the very first pony I ever got! :D
As far as vintage MLPs, I only get the ones I really love for my "collection". I have Gusty (regular version), Blossom (CF- concave foot), Snuzzle (CF), Moonstone, Starshine, Blueberry Baskets, Cherry Treats, and two Summer Wing Ponies, (High Flier and Buzzer). I have lots of other MLPs but they are either going up for sale soon or are posted for sale on my site. I just love MLPs but I have to be picky about the ones I actually keep for my collection. I am dreaming of getting some more shelves. LOL

I guess I don't know the difference? what is the difference between regular and concave foot? do you have pics? do you have a picture of Blossom? I'd love to see it!
I was just looking at your website... do you still have the CPK carrier for sale?!?!?! I want it! I'm going to send you an email!
berry elvish - October 1, 2004 07:28 PM (GMT)
Cindie, you should check out those mlp id sites that Erin listed in a previous post. The first one at least. It shows the first edition and the second edition (concave foot) of the ponies. I'm guessing I had at least four of the first edition. I never saw the castle or any of the winged or horned ponies in my rinky dink CA town when I was a kid!

With Gusty ( I differenciated that she was a "regular" version because they also released her as a So Soft pony - those are the ones that had the soft flocking all over them (If you know He-Man, it's like Skeletor's Panthor)). The Gusty I have has no flocking and has purple sparkly leaves as symbols. :)
I have Blossom on my site (I think she should be in My Collection section).
And yep! The CPK carrier is still available but you already know, because I emailed you! LOL :D
And Dream Valley is a very excellent resource. I ALWAYS use it. :)

okay... well, I bought Baby Blossom.. she's so cute! She comes with her accessories! so I now have Starshine, Moondancer, and BB.... I still would like Parasol, but I keep getting outbid on ebay! darn snipers! so if anyone sees a Parasol, LMK!
Berryblue - November 3, 2004 06:30 PM (GMT)
Yep! No problem! I will keep an eye out for you :D
