Title: CPK Gymnastics doll?
Description: does anyone remember?

All this talk about the ballerina doll and pj sparkles reminded me of a gymnastics doll... It think it could do somersaults and tricks. All I vaguely remember is the commercial. Does anyone remember the name? I think it came with like a ribbon to twirl? I keep thinking it was like a Cabbage Patch kid, but I don't think it was!

All I can remember along those lines is one that came out in the early 90's, but I can't remember her name (only wanting her and never getting her like everything else from back then) and I know we are talking about an 80's one here:P

For all I know, it could be an early 90's doll... I don't think I knew anyone that had one. So it had to be after 1985 for sure (after I left elementary school). I'm thinking it was a "soft" doll rather than a hard body doll. And I remember in the commercial that the doll could do somersaults.

I know what your talking about. It's Baby Tumbles Surprise. :hkhappy
That was a early 90s doll. There was also Baby Headstand Surprise and Mini Tumblers in the line. The Mini tumblers were babies, cats, and dogs.
I had one of the Mini Tumblers and I thought they were so cheap because they didn't roll or stand too good. :sad
Hope that helps. :lambie

I just looked up baby tumbles surprise, and I don't think is what I am remembering! She wasn't a baby doll... her 'age' was more similar to PJ sparkles. I think she wore a leotard. Maybe the doll couldn't REALLY do somersaults, etc, but the commercial showed it.
You know... maybe it was just the commercial for a 1996 CPK Olympikid gymnastics doll I'm remembering. I wish I could confirm it for sure!
