I always wondered if the characters in SSC or Rainbow Brite had parents. It's easy to think of Rainbow's since when she was sent to earth she was spoken to by some older female voice I always thought of as her mother...But what about Strawberry and her friends? Did they have parents? Or are they just magical beings like fairies who did'nt really come to be in the way normal humans do?

I don't think they really had parents! The "adult" characters seem to be Purple Pie Man and Sour Grapes, so "grown-ups" are somehow villians.

I used to think about their parents when I watched the cartoons like SSC in Big Apple City. I thought it was funny that she just went all alone to the city and then when she meet Orange, Lemon, and Apricot they were all living on their own (especially little baby Apricot all alone in her own apartment next door to Lemon Meringue) lol

I always wondered about this...Apple Dumplin' is SSC's sister, right, so there must be some kind of parents, in theory. And I know what you mean about little Apricot living all alone, with Hopsalot, in Big Apple City. But there is never any mention of mom or dad. Or anyone that watches over them all. The Berry Princess is the only non-evil adult and she only takes care of the berrykins. So my answer is NO. But I still think it's berry odd.
