Description: Early 90's doll, I always wanted her...

When I was little in 3rd grade, a girl in my class got her for her b-day. I wanted one sooo bad. There was also a baby and a horse in her line of toys and a cartoon.

I remember seeing the tv commercial for it! But I think I was too old for dolls like that by then....

OMG I see this doll ALLLLLL the time at yard sales! She is really cute and I always notice her. I, too, was too old for her by the time she was released. It would've been a doll my little sister would've had...maybe...

Yup, looks like I'm 8 years older than you!! The last "pop" toy I got was a CPK. I have 4 of them, so they were my childhood faves. :cpk :cpk :cpk :cpk
oh... I was into lambs/sheep after that, but most things were bought with money I earned! (that lamb that cried, I'm pretty sure I bought it with my own money).

I found a on-line reference site on PJ Sparkles. She came out in 1988 which makes it late 80s/early 90s. :afro

She must have done so well they brought her out a couple times...Or, like MLPs, the date on her could just be the date the *mold* of her was copyrighted and made but not sold. That's why some ponies say "'82" stamped on their hoofs when they came out to be sold in '85 etc...

Hmm...yeah it seems that I am 6-7 years older than you (I was born in late Dec. 1976 - so it's almost as if I was born in 77 really). You are my little sister's age. She was BIG BIG into Rainbow Brite (especially), MLPs, Cupcake dolls, Rose Petal Place, Popples, and Lady Lovely Locks. AND, I think she actually had the doll you are referring to. It makes sense now to me why every time I see them at yard sales they look so familiar!
