Yesterday and today,I tried something really good that changed the Lanard Bears alot.Straightened there hair out. :mlp

I just couldn't stand their hair bushy and knotty anymore.I used Emily's
(my sister) hair straightener iron and straightened the hair. Now the bears hair is easy to comb out.I just can't get over how straight and easier to comb now. :angel

I even did that with the new My Little Ponies I own.The vintage 1980's ponies hair seem easier to comb as the new ones, there hair gets knotted easily and hard to comb.I didn't try to comb the hair, but I will soon. :mlp ;)

Cool tip! I just got a nudie new Angel Cake and she has really bad hair! Maybe I will try and see if your tips help me. The new synthetic hair must not be as smooth as the old stuff... I think it will help smooth it if I straighten it!

This works! I used a regular curling iron though that had multiple settings and a flocked barrel, starting on the lower temperatures first and raising it (checking the results as I went). The problem with an iron is that some may get too hot and actually melt the synthetic hair so you have to use this tip with caution (maybe try it out on a toy/doll that has major flaws already).

This is actually my method of choice for straightening hair but as I said, you must be careful depending on how the synthetic hair reacts to your particular hair curling/straightening iron. :)

I'm glad those bears have a home with someone that cares so much about them!

The pony hair that I used to buy for customs needed to be ironed because it came kinda crimped. That works pretty good if you are careful, but I never thought about doing it on the ponies that have ratty hair. Great idea! :mlp
