Okay, I can't remember the name of these things. And no matter how much I google and ebay the descriptions I can't find them. -its like they don't exist!
They were small cars, I think about the size of a hand.
They had removable bodies that reveiled the baterry compartment/ little electric motor.
There were 2 wheel and 4 wheel drive versions I belive.
There where differnt types of tires (like ruber-slicks, rubber-groved, foam).
There were little plastic horizontal-wheels/bumers at all four corners that would guide the car around the track (if you were at a real race).
I think alot of them might have looked like little lamborginis/f1 racers.
At the time (that they were popular) I remeber like race tracks being set up at the local mall and there being actual races, -the tracks i think were basically just plastic walls a couple inches deep that guided the cars via the afore mentioned rollers on all four corners of each car.
There was NO remote control. Once you turned them on I think they just went... until you grabbed it again..
I swear I'm not making this up. Someone PLEASE tell me they remeber these things/know what they were called.
I'll look around for you and if I come across anything I will let you know.
