On your webpage I saw some berry cute Sanrio-like characters that are Chinese
(I think)?.

I remember one was Caper Cat and the ones by Chi Jui.Some of the characters by Chi Jui made me think of Patty Rabbit and her friends from Maple Town. :poochie

Can you still find Caper Cat items in Chinatown or Asian stores?.The last time I went to Star Gift in Chinatown Boston,I bought a few things like a mini notebook and gel pen paper.But I haven't found anything in a while.

Do you also know about D.D Duck which is like Pekkle from Hong Kong?.

I used to have a mechanical pencil of him my Aunt got from Hong Kong a long time ago,but I lost it. <_< -_- :sad

I see some Caper Cat and Bonbon Cat stuff around sometimes. There is also a cute little piggy called "Fat Fat"... my friend got me a tin of that once. There is also a cute Morning Glory/Orange Story store in Boston Chinatown... I think it's on Harrison across from Top Ten video (which the last I remember was like STUFFED to the MAX with cute Asian characters... and they sell Sanrio, and Sanrio-like characters). They have Piyo too... that cute little chicky and Miffy the bunny! I see some others like Pucca too... they have some in chinatown up in Vancouver too. I'd always try to go to Star Gift, Top Ten and the Morning glory store since they are all pretty close to each other, but I haven't gone to any of those places in a really long time!

I don't know about DD Duck... do you have any pics of that??

I don't recognize DD Duck.

I lived in Boston about 5 years ago... so that's when I used to shop at all those stores. I don't know if the Morning Glory store is still around. It wasn't called "Morning Glory"... maybe Moonwave? I honestly don't remember. I just know it was on the corner across the street from Top Ten... (a couple blocks south of Star Gift on Harrison, I think). I like Miss Rabbit. And I liked these characters that were like fruits. I don't remember their name... they could've been Orange Story characters... one had a strawberry-shaped head? I tried not to "collect" all these characters too, but I did get some stickers and stuff.

I don't remember about the Chui Jui... I think I got those in Chicago...

Sorry... I can't post a pic of the Fat Fat tin because it's in storage at my parents' house. I believe it was made by the same company as Bon Bon cat.
