What was the best toy you played with growing up in the 1980s?.

My favourite toy had to be my Kitt, with license plate voice activation, and Michael Knight action figure. I played with that toy WAY too much for my age at the time. LOL
I look at it this way, that toy kept me out of drugs, since I was an older teenager. (just kidding!)

Hmmm... I would say that the one toy I played with the most and cherished were my Strawberry Shortcake dolls. Other toys I ADORED... my Rainbow Brite colorkid, Indigo and her sprite, Hammy and my RPP doll, Lily Fair.

I also played with my Barbies likes crazy. My favorite Barbies were Tropical Miko and the bride Tracy (in case you don't remember she married "Todd" <I can add a pic if you don't know who I mean>)

Then any type of coloring project... construction paper, coloring books and then I had this cool thing that I made "cards" with. They had plates you put down and then put a paper on top of and rubbed with crayons. I wonder now what that thing was called. I used it for YEARS (literally) and loved it. :D

And as you can see, it is nearly impossible for me to choose my "best" toy from the 80s. :ha

What I really remember is my friend Zoe and I dressing up (legwarmers and silk scarves...gag me with a spoon :P ) and dancing to the entire Grease soundtrack. I still love that album! :wub:

lol You just reminded me of Get In Shape Girl! LOL You used to get stuff like legwarmers and a cassette to "work out" to. LOL I remember getting a set that came with this long ribbon on a wand that you were suppose to "dance" to! :lol:

I loved Grease and used to LOVE Olivia Newton-John. I soooo wanted to be her! :ha
