I loved those! Especially Lamb Chop's Playalong!!! Did you know that Shari Lewis came to our town and I got to see it LIVE? I don't remember how I got tickets, but they were free (not pavilion seats, on the grass) I think! Baby LambChop is my fave! :lambie

Don't forget Electric Company!
I totally remember all of those. And Lamb Chop too. LOL
I used to watch Captain Kangaroo as young as 4 or 5 yrs. old. I remember trying to see the part when the ping pong balls fell every day before the bus came and I'd get so upset when I had to miss it! I spent most of the time RUNNING likely crazy to catch the bus (thank God it picked us up at our driveway!)

I loved Ghostwriter!
Mr. Rogers Neighborhood just came out on DVD last Tuesday.
I remember all of those other shows too. Ahh memories... :D

Oh! I remember Square One and Ghostwriter! Square One was the show with the MathNet on it? Like 2 "math" police officers or crime detectives?

I remember most of the shows you mentioned. But please, you forgot The Polka Dot Door! I loved that show.
Once a week was "animal day" and they fed all their pets. That was the highlight of my week because my mom wouldn't let me have any pets.
And the Polkaroo would come visit once in a while but for some odd reason  the male host would never be around to see him. Only the lady would.
Then there were Humpty, Dumpty, Bear and Marigold. And crafts and songs and telling the time before storytime and special visitors occasionally, and plays and...."lets look through the Polka Dot Door and find out how...." something was made.
My favourite by FAR

oh!!! I'm just remembering another show I liked... Today's Special...
purplestar - April 18, 2005 11:10 PM (GMT)
Het, I forgot all about that one! Jody and Jeff the mannequin, Muffy was the mouse...what was the (puppet) security guard named? And I think he had a cat.
1u11aby1ambie - April 19, 2005 12:54 AM (GMT)
Yup! I think the security guard was named Sam! And I think Jeff had to keep his hat on his head... if it fell off, he'd become a mannequin again. LOL... I'd love to see some of these shows again!!

Mr.Roger's was one of my favorite shows growing up with Sesame Street and It
Figures. It was this low-budget Math show PBS would play every now and then.
It even had a cartoon with learning how to do fractions, division etc.I still liked to watch it of course.
