The most memorable moment I have of BB is the day Mr. Hooper died. They used BB's childlike emotions to explain about death. He was so sad and confused. It really was done well. I get sad just remembering that.

Then there was the time that everyone finally found out that Snuffy was real!

Those are some good memories, Amy. I didn't see either of those episodes! I have always loved when Big Bird takes care of the baby bird in his nest...or when I see Big Bird sitting/sleeping in his nest...there's just something neat about that.

Oh, yes! The way that he snores is so cute :lol:

I love Big Bird! I didn't see the episode when everyone found out Snuffy was real. I always wondered about that! I remember an episode where Big Bird had a broken wing and was trying to figure out what fun stuff he could do still!

I didn't see those episodes either, but I always wondered too! cause when I was a kid, everyone thought snuffy was a figure of BBs imagination... then when my daughter was little... snuffy was just out there in front of everyone, and they were all talking to him, and I was thinking.... what happened? :snuffy :bigbird

LOL talk about confusing! LOL I always liked that Snuffy was "imaginary" and I think I missed the episode where he became "real" too. lol
Happy Birthday to Big Bird. I loved seeing him where he wasn't really expected like in the Muppet Movie...where Kermit and Fozzy are in the car singing "Moving Right Along"...and now it will be stuck in my head! LOL
I STILL think it is the coolest thing to see Big Bird walking down the road! :lol:
