Title: Cpk Koosas

purplestar - March 19, 2005 02:00 AM (GMT)
I found a dog and a cat at my thrift store. I don't think I've ever seen them before, animal CPK's I mean! They are pretty cute.
Now all of a sudden I sorta collect CPK's...oops. But I don't go out my way to look for them...they are just there...and I can't resist.

The cat is missing her clothes, overalls I think. Most of the cats I looked up on ebay had overalls with rainbow straps. Does anyone know if they are supposed to have shoes? I'm thinking NO...who puts shoes on their pets, right?
Well' I'm off to see if anyone has kitty's outfit for sale.

Koosas didn't come with shoes,just collars and overalls,dress or a t shirt.
I had two growing up.Both dogs.I've always had a fondness for plush dogs.

Oh, I remember really wanting a Koosa more than anything else...except maybe the cpk show ponies! :P Awesome find, purplestar!

Yes, I've been CPK crazy lately. I have 3 carrier seats, 2 Koosas and 11 dolls. My house is way too small. I found a talking CPK at Value Village. I had never even heard of those! She has the cornsilk type of hair and a plastic body.
I found a lady that made me a SSC dress for one of my CPK's. and some overalls for my naked kitty. They are adorable.

Oh wow! The koosas aren't my faves... I prefer the dolls. I really like the beanie bottom babies!!! I think the talking CPKs are cool! I've never seen one, but I think they can interact with each other! Does yours still work?

LOL... Must be my influence over here... I'm CPK obsessed right now! :cpk :cpk :cpk

I liked the Koosas! not as much as the actual dolls, but I thought they had cute little faces. I haven't seen one in forever! :sw3

I have a kitty Koosas for sale on my site. They are really cute but I never had one when I was little. I was more focused on the regular CPKs, I guess :)

I keep meaning to go check out the Goodwill downtown. I want to find some CPK stuff at a thrift store, and I won't unless I go thrifting! Maybe tomorrow. I just haven't been feeling so great today or I would've gone downtown (for lunch).

:sorry Feel better soon, Joyce!
Let us know if you find anything when you do go thrifting! :D

I just found another talking doll. So I will see if they can interact. They both work. In fact, they look like twins!
I also found a little African American baby boy with a hard body. I still want a regular boy though, with yarn hair.
I think I'm going to put a few on ebay, but I'm not positive. I love them all!
I'll take some pics and post later.
I must admit, I really love the koosas the most. I always prefered stuffed animals over dolls.

I had a Cabbage Patck Kid when I was little. For some reason it was okay for both boys and girls to have them.I was a neglectful parent though. My Koosa doggy got all my attention while my CPK collected dust.

Well I can't really get the talkers (now I have 3) to interact. I mean, if you put the magnetic hand of one onto the mouth of the other it works, but I think any magnet would do that! :P
Weredog, I hear ya! Koosas rule!

weredog - May 18, 2005 06:04 PM (GMT)
Koosas seem to be harder and harder to come by.I've been wanting to buy one, but I've had no luck so far.At least not with dog ones which are the only kind I like

Shellberry Shortcake - May 18, 2005 11:38 PM (GMT)
oh-I will keep my eyes peeled for them.

I do see them all the time but I never get them because they never really grabbed me....

I have my childhood Koosa kitty. My sis and I named her Wrapper. I bought two others on Ebay awhile back, as well. They're currently in my mom's old doll cradle with a bunch of Cabbage Patch Kids.
