Title: Thrift Store Finds
RollChan1985 - March 4, 2005 09:42 PM (GMT)
When I came home from school today,I stopped at this thrift store in Tyngsboro for my My Little Pony and Transformers searching.
I didn't find any of them. :hksad
I found some other berry neat stuff anyways.I found this vintage Precious Moments figure that's a angel boy from 1991,2 vintage Muppet Babies figures
(Kermit and Gonzo),and a vintage 1985 Bioroid Terminator figure from the Robotech series.
The lady at the store was so berry nice to me because she took out another bin so I could search for my stuff. :bbm
The lady told me she will get some Transformers and My Little Ponies one day if people drop any in. :mlp

Wow. It sounds like you found some pretty cool things even though you didn't find Transformers or MLPs. I bet you will find some in time if you are persistent. :wave

Wow! Great for you! It's better to find anything than nothing at all ;)
Congrats on your finds!

I always find something at the thrift store. I go about once a week and there is always something I collect. Last week I got a slumber party Angelcake, A Ginger Snap and an Orange Blossom for $7. They are missing the shoes and accessories, but I'm surprised they were there at all. They are new!
Keep checking whenever you can!

Wow!! That's great to find something in thrift stores. I don't have much luck, but then again, I probably don't go enough! Maybe I will check out the Good Will downtown... the local CPK collectors said that it was a good one!
BTW, I think you can write/call Bandai and see if you can get "replacements" for those shoes and things that are missing!

Wow! Purplestar, great finds! And that's a really great idea, Joyce. I bet you could get some replacements that way :)
Joyce, be sure to let us know if you come across anything cool at the Goodwill. :wave

I don't have a thrift store near me anymore--they all closed down...

Good idea, I did that with Hasbro and it worked out well.
I can't identify exactly 2 of the dolls though!

that's great! i went to one this week as well, and found three sesame street dolls from mcdonalds still in the wrapper, (bert, ernie, and snuffy) and orco, also from mcd's, and still in the wrapper. they had the mcd's nuggets that you could dress up as well, but i was out of cash. but i bet they will still be there next week.
i also got a pair of roller skates from the 80's. for a buck! i LOVE thrift stores!!
