Remember back in 1995-1996 around Christmas that the Cabbage Patch Snacktime Kid was a hit?.

I remember little girls kept getting their hair chewed up and stuck in the doll. The toy was then taken off the shelf after Christmas.

Anyone know about this?. :cpk

Yes, I heard about the recall. I've seen some of these kids, so they're still around. Someone told me their grandkids love to feed them the little snacks!

LOL That is pretty interesting. I have probably seen them somewhere but I can't really remember them offhand.

Kindred's first cpk was a Snack Time Kid. I think it must have been a later edition though, since I bought it in 98-99. It came with a back pack with a sandwhich that was 'cut' into four pieces and probably some other stuff that I can't remember. I don't remember much about it except that he left it outside and it got ruined by the rain. :( I threw it away.

omg-I remember in like 98 or 99-the goodwill had a TON of the snacktime kids for sale--yes they were selling the recalled toy!

yes, my daughter Megan had one when she was a baby... so it must have been around 95-96. Hers had a backpack, and she could feed it carrot sticks, french fries, celery sticks (all hard plastic.. not real). they recalled it, and my husband sent it back, since it was $50. I wish I'd have kept it though!
